First Grow ever Need lots of Help

Wow! I’m severely underwatering.
So you are watering until runoff correct

Yes i do.

@Graysin why are two of my plants turning yellow while the other two are staying green. They all four are flowering.

Different nutrient needs, more likely than not.

Check the pH and PPMs of the water for each of the plants (you’re in autopots, right? Just scoop out enough of the liquid from the autopot tray to be able to get a reading). I’m gonna bet money the two who are yellowing have wonky pH.

@Graysin How do I fix the PH in those two pots of that is what it is?

@Graysin also how would the PPMs and PH be off in just 2 pots?

You could take the plant out and flush it (extremely thoroughly, since you’d be watering from the top down to flush, you’ll need a LOT of water to go through it)

The pH can be off if the plant made it that way. Sounds silly to say but since each plant has its own nutrient needs, it will adjust the pH of its own root zone up or down depending on what she needs. Let’s say, for example, she wanted more K than the other ladies. She would naturally lower the pH of her root zone to attempt to uptake the K - but if there wasn’t any left, she lowered the pH on her own and induced a pH lockout of her other nutes too.

You can attempt to just empty the tray and refill it with the proper pH water with fresh nutrients (raise the tray above the flood table of your reservoir first, otherwise it’ll just refill with whatever is in the res) and see how it goes.

Once I raise it up and refill with the right PH won’t it simply do the same thing once I lower it back down?

No, because if the tray is full it won’t refill til she’s used what’s in her tray. By then she should be getting the nutrients she needs to be happy.

@Graysin Okay thanks so much!! You are a life saver!!! I can’t get any PH up and PH down until Tuesday. Will my plant be damaged by then? Would I be better off to flush like you said and then simply put her back down in her tray?

Bigger roots=Bigger fruits. Transplanting is not traumatic if you leave the rootball alone and do it properly.

Baking soda for pH up, citric acid, lemon juice or vinegar for pH down

Be very sparing with baking soda, it breaks down into sodium which can be harmful in high doses.

6.28 PH on one and PPM 740

@Graysin 6.02 PH and 443 PPM on the other one

@Graysin can you look at all 4 of my numbers and tell me where I should be?

You’re in coco or soil?

@Graysin Coco and Perlite

6.2 is ideal for flowering. I’d be aiming around 800-1000 PPMs of nutrients (before any pH up/down or microbes). :v:

Based on your numbers, I think they’re just super hungry. :100:

How do I get my PPM up?
