First time grower !! need help
This is my second week into flowering and I am noticing more leaves turning yellow and brown and eventually falling. I have been using FF grow big nutes and last week I fed my plant with big bloom too, since it is transitioning to flowering ( 10 ml grow big 5ml big bloom) Also, I gave her calg mag thinking the brown spots may be a calmag deficiency. Can this yellow leaves be a nitrogen deficiency? if so, should I keep feeding her the grow big nutes which are rich in nitrogen?
Looks like cal mag shortage and a little hungry. Leaves will turn yellow and fall off during flower. Do you PH your water? May be experiencing some lock out. FF nutes crashes PH. From what I have read those bottom leaves need to go, growing in a tent like that you want as much light to bud sites as you can get.
Yeah, I had some issues with low ph runoff whereas ph going in was 7.0 and runoff came at 5.5-5.8
I topdressed the soil with some garden lime and ph runoff is coming at 6,3 now. Also i did a good flush prior that and gave nutrients and cal mag after the flush. I will try increasing the nutes and cal mag on my next watering. Thanks !!
Tiger Bloom is the trioβs main flower nutrient. You should be using all three at this time. The soilschedule for week 6 (wk 2 flower) is 3 tsp - Big Bloom, 2 tsp - grow Big, and 2 tsp -Tiger Bloom.
Fox farm is usually given on a feed - water - feed schedule. Any supplements like calmag or silica are added on the water days.
Hopefully the flush to correct ph and use of calmag will prevent further loss. The damaged leaves will not heal.
