Hello all you super growers out there. Can anyone tell me how to find seeds for a CBG plant? I tried to find it on the seeds page and did a search for CBG and no results.

THC and the other cannabinoids are not mutually exclusive. There also exists high THC/CBD strains, though many CBD strains are 0.3% THC since they are developed and marketed to be that.

@Lornakinsh I was gone chopping my final Purple Kush Auto. You have gotten great responses from gentleman who have forgotten as much as I know. It gets confusing learning the nuances of the medicinal breakdown so don’t get discouraged! @MidwestGuy ’s list will work wonderfully.
If you want a more specifically engineered plant @Bonjoyle has you. A quick search of CBG seeds for sale netted many options with the one I looked at showing their lineup at all 10:1 ratio of THC:CBG. The place where I bought mine doesn’t show up any longer.
Your needs like mine are pretty specific and after much churn I ended up “cheating” a little bit. My specific CBG plant was an autoflower outside in an unusually cold late start to summer. It gave me an ounce. As I wanted to incorporate CBG every day I purchased some CBG isolate where I add it proportionally to my sleep gummies. During daytime I vape by starting with either half THC flower and half CBD hemp flower or a hybrid THC/CBD flower all from my grows. On both of those I top with purchased CBG Kief on my vape bowl. When my supply is low I intend to grow all my own again. Or I may stick with growing regular weed and purchasing what I want to supplement.
I mention all of this to illustrate that there are many ways to get it done once you see all of the options and can decide what will work best for you.

Thank you for that, Mito. @Bonjoyle did give me info on how to find exactly what I wanted. I wanted a CBG plant without THC and I found one. You had told me how to find CBG concentrate on the Bladder help post that I posted. I have some ordered and should get it any day now. Then I will know what it does for me. I wanted a plant without THC, so I could use it during the day without fear of being high. I won’t buy the seeds until I know how I will react to it, and then again, I may just continue to order it like you’re doing. Thanks again, Mito, you have been a great help to me, and seem to be on the same path that I’m on.

Trilogene Seeds dot com (seed competitor links aren’t allowed on the forum) has two CBG strains.
One has only .25% THC and the other .07% THC.
Both are photoperiod plant seeds.
If you might be interested in tinctures, Rare Cannabinoid Company makes a couple CBG products without THC.

I’ll be reading that article, Thanks so much, Twelve1. I’m interested in ones with no THC, so I can use it during the day without fear of being high. I did find some plant seeds like that on Bonjoyle’s suggestion. I will definitely look at the site you posted.

Right! I thought that might be interesting to you.
You can also take a CBD strain with no THC and decarb it longer at a bit higher temp and it will convert CBD to CBG plus CBN and put you to sleep!
