Finally back to growing after over a year! Still a Newbie though!

Hello everyone,
So back in my 4x4. Unfortunately had to stop at the beginning of my grow journey but I’m back after over a year.
So germinated 5 beans three have broke ground. In a 4x4 with 6” exhaust inside. Nanolux ledzx630w 18/6.
FF Happy Frog. Right now sitting in Mother Earth Groundswell Performance soil. In solo cups then will be transplanted into final home 5 gallon fabric pots with the happy frog. Except one. One will have to go into a plastic 3 1/2 gal pot. Also will be placing 1 single lady on a self watering tray. With that I will be using the General hydroponics Lucas Formula. The rest I will be using Simply Professional Formula nutes.

Blappleberry Haze-Speedrun
Acid snow-Speedrun
Pound Dawg-Speedrun
Kong Breath- Rocbud
Gammathon-DarkOwl

Kong breath, acid snow, and Blappleberry haze have all broke ground. Waiting on the other two but I have started germinating replacements just in case.
I germinate the moist paper towel in ziplock method.
I’ll be bugging a lot I’m sure. I’m always asking questions so sorry in advance. Any advice pointers and wisdom is always appreciated and encouraged.

I have my light in setting number 2 ( believe it’s 205w) at the moment. I do put plastic ziplock over for humidity.

Happy growing y’all

Day 7 today, week one down for three. The Kong Breath, Acid Snow, and Blappleberry Haze are doing pretty good. Stretched a little maybe.

As for the Gammathon and the Pound Dog, well they are struggling hard. They were germinated and put into solos at the same time as the rest but they aren’t going to make it. In anticipation of this I started germinating replacements and they tapped out and I put them into their solos last night. Fingers crossed.

I got some of this stuff for the transplants. I don’t have any type of “ grow shop” near me so picked this up at ACE. Anyone have any experience with either of these?

I transplanted the Kong Breath(RocBudInc), Blappleberry Haze, and Acid Snow(both Speedrunseeds) the night before last.

I used some “Big Foot” granular mycorrhizae along the walls and bottoms of the transplant holes. Hoping it gives the roots the boost it needs and relieves some if any shock.

The replacement Gammathon(Darkowlseeds) has been above ground for a couple days now. Lights came on a lil bit ago so will be checking for the Pound Dog(Speedrunseeds) here shortly.

What’s up everyone! Hope y’all had a good safe Halloween :ghost:.
So the plants are sitting at 17 days today. I fed the two on the Vivosun self watering base on day 14(Kong Breath and the Blappleberry Haze). They got 10ml/gal of Rhize Nutrients.
The Acid snow will be fed tonight after lights come back on. Been waiting for dry back since it’s in that plastic pot. Think I may pop some more holes in it to help with the dry back.
All plants water/feed solution is phd at 6.2-6.5. Nutrients I’m using slightly lowers ph.
Light is set at setting 4(420w). I don’t have a par meter and don’t really know about checking/tracking par and lums or whatever. So any pointers or advice regarding that aspect would be greatly appreciated. As well as any other help too.
Learning about par and all that jazz will be next in the learning plan. Up until this point I try and just read the plant.
They seemed to have done good and maybe just a little transplant shock. Hoping the Bigfoot granular mycorrhizae helped with that. But 7 days after transplant and there’s new growth and they are drinking so…. :man_shrugging:

And

Then

The seedling I’m not too worried about. I was very excited for the Gammathon and Pound Dog but after the first round of beans going to shitt I’ve kind of lost interest. Now I can’t remember which one it is because I didn’t pay attention pulling out of the germination baggie. So going to let it hang around and trail behind to see what happens.

Happy growing y’all and stay kind!

Day 29 today.
Acid Snow really stunted and has been showing signs of flower for a few days now. Thinking about pulling but she’s happy and praying even after a trim job.

The Kong Breath and Blappleberry Haze are still vegging out but the Haze looking like it’s going to show us the goods first. She’s also a big drinker and soil is moist all the way up to the top! Which is pretty impressive from buttchugging!

The Kong Breath is looking good as well. Not a fast drinker at all. It’s slowed down a little from its initial starting pace. Reigning supreme over the others, now has fallen back into the haze’s “6”. Just glad it hasn’t been showing signs of pre flower just yet

Continued….

Like I was saying I’m glad the “Kong” and “Haze” haven’t been showing pre flower signs just yet.

The one in the grow bag is uh growing. Showing pistils already. Not going to train it at all it’s just hanging out. Maybe it gets some feed maybe that will be the one that gets pulled lol.

Acid Snow is getting fed Simply Professional Formula. The other two is getting Rhize Nutrients. The bag will most likely get left over Rhize. The kongs reservoir was sitting at 6.8ph so got it down to 6.0. Going to keep an eye on it.
The Hazes fabric pot is looking like it’s growing some green algae. Has anyone experience this and is it a problem or potential problem I should worry or be proactive about?

On a side note I have some Photoperiods germinating. At the moment. More excited about that to be honest. :grimacing:

37 days today! These things are pretty interesting.

Blappleberry Haze is starting pre flower and looking amazing. Right on time for the shift ( or maybe just perfect preflower time for me). She’s a big drinker/feeder. I’ve started her transition feed the begining of this week.(week 5 of life) I’ll most likely be able to give her another transition feeding from the way she’s drinking. Trained her up pretty good with lots of sites for potential :rocket: kolas to blast off from!

.

Kong Breath is BUSHY!!! Big fat leaves casting shadows. I’ve trimmed back foliage 2 times already. Currently not showing any signs of pre-flower. Slow drinker/feeder. Maybe it’s my wicked self watering base that isn’t wicking as good? If so she’s not showing any deficiencies or hunger. Just when/how she wants it. Trained her but a bit more sensitive than the Haze so not really messing with her anymore. Most likely going to defoliate again in beginning of flower.

Both plants above are being fed Rhize nutrients

I still have the Acid Snow in the tent. Was planning on pulling it but struggling with that. The longer I wait I’m sure the harder it will be. So this anomaly has been showing signs of flower since around day 26-28. It’s sitting in a 3 1/2 gal nursery pot. Haven’t been feeding it just PhD water. I did feed it some Simply Professional Formula in veg. May feed her some, a flower dose maybe.

Stoked about the Blappleberry Haze and excited and a little anxious to see how she does in flower.
For the other two it’s a love hate relationship. But still letting them do there thing.
Happy growing y’all :+1:t2:

If you check out my previous post 8 days prior, you can see some pretty significant growth today. All in a week!
Check out the Snow @Beard-O

43 days old for the OG 3.

Acid Snow has been showing signs of pre flower for a while now. Not much action besides crying wolf up until now. Seems to be stacking nicely and starting to frost up. I’m glad I didn’t pull her. Small plant but she’s surprising me.

Kong Breath is uh not “Autoflowering”. Absolutely no signs of pre flower. Drinking/Feeding and growing. I’m training her and pinning her down and around until she starts showing signs of flower. This will be interesting. I was thinking about trying and taking a clone from here. What do you think?

The Blappleberry Haze seems to be the only “on schedule” normal auto out of the bunch. Despite the stunting in liking the way this one is turning out. Big drinker/feeder. Stacking nicely. There are pistols that are turning orange already which is a little concerning. Hope it’s just a strain characteristic.

Day 57 for the Acid Snow and the Blappleberry Haze both by Speedrun Seeds as well as the Kong Breath by Rocbud Inc.
The Acid Snow is yellowing on me. Been having very low ph issues that I’ve been able to maintain for the most part but I think she’s had enough and finally showing me she’s had enough of it. Speedruns website says it’s a 65-75 day plant. Hoping for day 70 harvest (Christmas Eve). Frosty and smells amazing!

Blappleberry Haze is doing well. Took it off the self watering base. She’s densing up and frosty. Think she may be behind the Acid snow about a week or two. Lots of budsites! Hoping they bulk up and keep growing. A lot can happen in 10-14 days right….

The Kong Breath by Rocbud Inc is not Auto-ing…
Day 57 and no flowering. No signs of flowering. No vertical growth just foliage. Low ph issue but that wouldn’t cause an auto to not autoflower right? Shuts a mystery to me and going to keep it going for as long as I can and hopefully she makes it for the flip of the photos I got started. :man_shrugging:

Happy growing y’all and merry Christmas :wrapped_gift::christmas_tree:

Been a little while… :joy:
71 Days from sprout for the original 3 autoflowers.

The Acid Snow will be getting the chop first from the looks of it.

The Blappleberry Haze maybe a week behind but I have only been checking her with a basic jewelers loupe.
The Kong Breath is still hanging around. Still not flowering. I super cropped her. Still not enough stress to send her into flower or herm her. Going to keep her going for as long as I can and flip with the rest of the bunch.

Some sxs of some progression….
