I got this purple kush going. In between week 3 n 4. On its 5th set. I’m wondering if I should top it. Anyone out there grow the purple kush auto and topped it with success? Here’s a picture of what she looks like.

I decided to do it. Gotta risk it for the biscuit. I got 19 other purple kush seeds from ilgm if it doesn’t go well I’ll start more and try again.

I just fimed a Girl scout cookies auto i fim her six times i sone all branches and i did the top twice

Welcome ! Healthy looking plant 4 or 5 nodes on auto’s perfect time to fim or top. Time will tell but I don’t think you snipped enough to have a successful fim. Just my thoughts good luck my friend.

Thanks for the tips. I’m going to top the next couple of purple kush auto instead. It is a strong plant. She bounced back in just 2 days. Here’s a couple update pics. I did some leaf tucking.
Back for an update on this FIMed pk. She was bushing and doing great filling in like crazy but then I fucked up and accidently cut 1 of the lower branches off during a defoliation. Stupid i know. Should have been paying more attention. So this happened on the 14th. Should have took some pictures of it. Sorry. But here’s what i did. I tied down some branches to fill in the empty spot. The branch that i cut im going to try to clone. gotta turn this mistake into a bush am i right bob?

Doing very well i think. I tied her down again yesterday and today she is already pushing back up. Here’s a couple pics.

Update day 43 on week 7. Trying to keep her even. I feel like i could have trimmed off the smaller nugs a bit more. The one’s that wouldn’t produce much. Probably not a good idea to do it this far into flower right? I love the way this purple kush is growing. Short and thicc.

I don’t see any of those lower buds you were going to remove?? All will fatten up with good lighting, nutes and environmental conditioning. Did you over defoliate her, she seems thin and lacking bud sites??

I did cut some of the nice fan leaves and made a coaster for my coffee. I haven’t cut anything since then. But here she is now
Her clones are doing well i might add.
Update. I don’t have pictures of her covered in paint im sorry. But i had a paintball gun go off in my room and it hit the tent broke it by the corner seal and it splattered her and her clones. I was shocked at the site of it but I brought them all out side sprayed off the plants best i could. Cleaned up the tent. Put them back in with a dehumidifier and a couple other fans while leaving it open so the temps didn’t get too high. This happened the day after the last post. I hope i don’t get that white powder mold. But i see it as a possibility. I’m thinking maybe take off a few more fan leaves to let it breath a little better. But yeah. I hope it doesn’t become an issue. Other then that she is looking good. Clones are ok too.

So i forgot to update last week. My bad. Here she is in her golden glory i hope idk. the yellowing has been happening now the past week or so. Started off on lower fans then moving towards the top. I did prune her up a bit right before she started to do this. I’ve been giving her teas. She might be needing nitrogen idk. I was going to add a little worm castings to the top right now and give water to her. I feel like the yellowing might be normal but also not so. Idk. Let me know what you think.
Ffhf supersoil layer on bottom regular ffhf on top. Half in perlite on bottom with an air pump i run when watering.
I top fed her once with fish bone meal 1tbsp first sign of flower. On her third tea from first sign of flower. Once in the 18th of feb. Another on the 4th of March andv again just this pastFriday on the 18th. The tea i use is 420scene flower tea but i add a blended banana peel to the mix. I’ll add a picture of the recipe. The ppm of the tea is around 1000 leaning on the higher side. I don’t water for runoff. So i don’t know that reading.
I ph the water to 6.6 or 6.7
I have a soil probe stick that says it’s around the same.
Ts1000 lights that is around 80% at 14 inch from canopy. The photone app reads as

Not sure what that means exactly. But there you go. Haha.

77 to 80 f for temps night around 67f
Rh is 45% day. 55% night. But yeah. She’s on week 10. Day 91 in total. In week 5 of flower. Tricombs are still clear for the most part. But she’s getting close i think. Nex 2 weeks maybe a little more. I just wonder why I’m not getting that purple color like i seen in the pictures of others who grew the purple kush auto. 
On the hot days i have to open my room and the tent up and that drops the humidity a bit.
Thats some bice bud forming and you are doing a great job.

. Those lower yellow leaves are part of the natural fade at this stage of growth. You can remove those
