Nice. The healthy bacteria will be great for the gut. I make a batch of sauerkraut (fermented cabbage) once a month. It’s really simple. Salt water (5% salt) and shredded cabbage. Just mix it, let it sit for 4 to 6 weeks, and then it’s ready to go and good for you.
What fruit? Looks like peaches or mango.
2 cups cantaloupe
1 cup distilled water
1/2 cups brown sugar
3/4 tea salt
I use it to feed my plants during flowering.
@FoggyHollar Can you make liquor out of that?
Drop a pack of active yeast, and you got some backyard wine. Just strain it really well.
I’ve been reading about making a cold tea using organic banana peels and using it on the plants during flowering. Banana peels are high in phosphorus and potassium so they give the girls a little extra for making buds.
What does this add ? Sounds interesting
That’s awesome. I plan on doing that towards the end of flower since Banana peels also have enzymes that make them ripen. Maybe it will help the buds finish out.
Sounds like it would be better to save it for the last 3-4 weeks of flower then. I’ve got a Wedding Cake auto going that is at week 10 from seed. It’s stacking some nice, sticky buds. Would be a good time to see what it does.
Beautiful cola. And please share your recipe if you decide to make it.
I made up some of the banana peel tea by cutting up the peels from organic bananas. (I usually have one in the morning with breakfast.) I grabbed an old pickle jar the wife had stashed and put the peels in, and added water from the RO system. Gotta leave some air at the top. Put the jar in the refrigerator. Next day I add the cuttings from a second peel, third day I strain off the liquid and add it to the watering can. I use about 1/2 pint in a 2 gallon watering can. Checking the ph on the tea, it lands around 5.8.
The WC has got a few doses(every three days), and I will say the buds are swelling up nicely and getting very sticky. Seems to be liking it and responding well. Photo is the same Wedding Cake auto from the previous pic.
