I got the email from Fastbuds today announcing their Banana Purple Punch set a new world record, a whooping 30.4 THC!
I realize THC levels like that will likely not be achieved by home growers like us, but it’ll be sure fun trying.
I’m ordering some tomorrow, and will try them them after I finish this grow.
Look forward to watching that grow in the near future.

Have u tried to give a slight squeeze and see if u can get a crack in the shell to allow water in to start expanding the flower in the seed. So e seeds have a hella thick shell which makes it a pain to get the water in. Also I’ve read in a few spots to start seeds do a shot glass of all hot tap water and a cap of peroxide mixed and let seed soak in the hot water til u do paper towel method or strait to pot. Hot water helps soften the shells and allows the water to penetrate faster peroxide will a did an Xtra oxygen molecule in the water and also help u off to a sterile start Incase who makes the seeds had suffered any kind of mold or mildew issues that came in the packs of seeds at all.
Peroxide is used to soften the hull when soaking.
I have never thought of trying to introduce a crack in seed hull.
After a seed has soaked for 72 hrs with no signs, what does one have to lose by trying it.
Dont know about world record, but the ILGM Apple Fritter lists at 32%, just missed a couple bogo sales prior to Christmas. Its on my list.
I’m growing 3 Bear Dance autos now, listed at 33%, and just bought some Sleepy Joe OG fem seeds that are listed at 34%. Two of the Bear Dance are ready for harvest whenever I get around to them, and 2 of the Sleepy Joe seeds will get germinated mid-January, along with 2 Mighty Quin high CBD seeds. Gotta melt the body as well as the mind!
