Yes, the partial decarb pits the oil at the right velocity. I may add a drop of terps but it’s not to thin anything, simply for the flavor if I have a real earthy tasting oil.
I’ve been making them this way for over a year. I believe @Newt may also be using the technique

If I am making vape carts, I typically use some terps from Farm to Vape. But no real “thinners”.

Yeah, I’ll use a drop or two of True Terps but for flavor or for rep properties.
I was wondering why the dispo list their carts at like 80% thc. I was using my own and never bought any. I think I would much prefer 100% thc.

Thanks @Newt and @AfgVet i really appreciate the direction. If I can get it completely natural, I prefer that. I had no clue it could be done with out liquidizers, but for a dispo to do it that way it wouldn’t be as cost effective, but doing at home it’s all about higher quality of course. Yall are awesome.

I watched a couple videos on the tube. All they did was stick the bubble hash full melt
in the oven warm it up, then put it into the atomizer, then they put all the carts in the oven to melt then topped it off. I’ve done that and it always seems too thick later. I do use the addictive to thin and felt like it wasn’t bad. But I’ll give it another go the way you folks posted.

I can’t remember who I got my carts from last.
As far as drawing it up, I use a 5ml syringe that’ll take a needle. Then i found some small glass syringes with “needles” for filling ink cartridges. I use those needles on the 5ml. The glass syringes work fine if you’re doing one or two grams, but more than that and it’s kind of a pain, they’re only 1ml

Give it a shot. I had to play with it just a bit to nail my technique. I found a toaster oven to be the best for decarbing the oil. I found a nice digital convection one on amazon scratch and dent for like $45.
The air fryer is not a good choice. I think because it’s convection. It decarbed more than I intended and made the oil too thin.

I ended up buying this stuff:
Pckt Brand cartridges… Ceramic… No heavy metals… Their others include lab results on metals present in the vape.

I use farmtovape for liquidizer… They have kits, plus they have terpines… If your into that.
Gram of concentrate, plus 3ml of farmtovape liquidizer… Into a small jar… 5 minutes boil in water… Syringe into one 5ml syringe… Fill.

I partially decarb my bud then do the extraction… I bought a magnetic heat plate to decarb oil but haven’t got into it yet.

I believe most dispo carts are made from CO2 extracted hash oil, and I assume that changes it up somehow.

The small. 0.80ml size no issues… The 1.0ml the only issue has been my filtering… If my filtering isn’t good enough… The 1.0ml will eventually build up that stuff, soot, and it becomes obvious before it’s empty… Which is a waste. Like burnt stuff builds up in the concentrate.
Other than the cost… Only other issue I have had is I cracked one glass area by overtightening the cap.
Other than that no issues yet. Reusable if the filtration is good.
@AfgVet For your oil decarb…i have checked out the link… What temp do you partially decarb at and for how long?
Also… Any chance you could please post a video of how far you are evaporating in the Source Turbo… I would rather not use the liquidizer… However, my concentrate is too thick… Hoping to cook less and it’ll be a bit thinner… I’ve been afraid of leaving alcohol in it.
