Ec run off advice please

my next run will be in the autopot trays in about 3 weeks time.

My question is about the run off ec numbers?

I feed at 1.4 ec and ph 5.8 today,
My run off is 1.8 ec and ph 6.3

They are looking pretty healthy apart from 1 twistered small leaf.

@OGIncognito and anyone else with the answers.

should i wait till next watering day, and put less food in the water ?
Or feed as normal and check run off again?

I will only top water a couple or so more times in the next 3 weeks,
before bottom feeding in autopots.

Cheers team :dash:and Happy new year to all.:tada::balloon::confetti_ball::sparkles:

Only the 1 plant had 1.8 EC
The other 3 went 1.4ec, 1.5ec and 1.6ec

After seeing the lower EC numbers , i guess it would be best to carry on as i was,

Unless theres a better way to go?

Coco and perlite correct?? The EC is good and what my normal feed numbers are. The 6.3 PH is just a smidge out of range. Keep the feed at 800-900 PPMs or an EC of 1.8-1.9 and adjust the PH down to 5.6 with the usual liberal run off. Coco likes a daily or every other day feeding, just don’t let the coco dry. A couple more feedings at a lower PH will bring that back in range. 5.8-6.2 will work for coco and make sure to discard the run off :love_you_gesture:

Yes coco & perlite 70/30 correct .
Thanks heaps for the reply , im glad i did ask about it.
I have been ph’ing to 6 ,(today 5.8)
thinking that because im top feeding straight in to the pot , the ph wont have time to raise.
I found when ph’ing into the resivour for autopots, the Ph does go up slightly.
( my thoughts why i ph to 6  )However from now on 5.6 is my Ph go to now :ok_hand:
I do wonder about reusing the run off , but i dont And i wouldnt,
I do want the best for our lil ladies :seedling:

cheers @OGIncognito i really appreciate your advice
And im always learning more as i grow.

When I fill my reservoirs I adjust the PH for the 1st gallon or 2 which ever it takes to fill the trays at 5.8. I fill the rest of the res at 5.6 playing the drift and check the res PH a few days later and adjust as needed. Definitely discard the run off, you don’t want the plant medium wicking that back in driving up the PPMs/EC which can cause issues with the PH. I typically top feed for 2 weeks then turn the system on and mix approximately 4-6 gallons at a time to help mitigate the drift. Their slow eaters in the early veg stage but once they hit the stretch and flower I increase the res amount. I’m typically away from home a week at a time and the auto pot system is a game changer :love_you_gesture:
