Hi Growmies, I am running three dwc pots for the first time. Using floraflex. I have only grown organic but wanted to try something different. I have 3 diff phenos running. One is the oldest and finally came out of its rough patch and roots are sprouting into the water but it took forever (about 16 days). One of the others isnt looking terrible but still no roots coming out the bottom yet and looks a bit rough leaf wise. Then my 3rd is really struggling… All had good taproot out of the rockwool before setting into the pots. Water is barely touching the bottom of the 6 inch net cup. Im just a bit confused because i see people setting their plants into net cups and a few days later tons of roots but mine dont seem to move that fast. Any ideas? Cant post pics right now, sorry.
This should be 1.5-2” from the net cup. Post some pics of the plants and your set up. One of the biggest killers in hydro is pythium (root rot) and occurs generally with res temps above 70.

I was about to take some of the water out to see if that works… good to see verified. I have seen so many different thoughts on that. I use hydro guard and also keep the water temps around 68-74 max. temp in room currently is running about 74 and RH is average 50%. Ill post some pics when i get a chance. Ill try draining some water and testing ppm and ph to make sure its not impacted.
