here is my current feeding chart that I go by and how often I change it…

mix in 5 gallon buckets and I don’t get caught up with exactness … Seedlings will be around 300ppm,…then around 750 then around 850 then around 1000 then start back down 900 then 750 and end up around 450 to nothing…

Oh you use flroa guard… can i use fox farns? And i need to get hydro guard i forgot about that one

I don’t use one in my setup because I keep the grow room temp cool enough to keep the totes cool enough…

I misread your original comment and thought your were using General Hydroponics Trio…

Chillers are expensive… would my temps be ok or not really?

Ok inthink the water would stay sround that on the floor. So can i use fox farms trio or not really

I have fans that push air on the totes…look at my tent pic above…so the totes do tend to follow the grow room temp but a bit cooler … colder air on the floor than at chair level so that helps too…I don’t see why you couldn’t use the Fox farms nutes…

@Retiredoldguy @AVeryScaryGhost

My build idea was to put a drain hole with grommet and elbow with tube connected at the bottom of tote.

That should make changing out the water faster an easier.

The filI was going to make a removable port at top, and put air tube hole at top corner of tote. This will allow me to “pre mix” and fill and check ppm/pH in tote at any time.

Also was going to have tote lifted about 6 inches of floor for drainage purposes.

Also was thinking only 1 plant to the 7.5gallon tote due to it not being very deep but wide.

My nutrients are Lotus pro series. The manufacturer says it can be used for hydro also

At current I have the tote, some coco, seeds and water. What else am I missing. I know air pump an air rock.

@Hugh85 we were talking about this B4.

morning Dan… something to keep in mind with the 7.5 gal tote is you will only get 3 gal in it so that you stay below your net pot… I have a 7.5 gal tote that I use to sprout seeds in and it works but I am not sure I would try to grow out a plant in it…good luck growmie and we will help you when we can…

So if i used this can you put 2 plants per tote?,

yes you can… but IMHO you would get a better grow if you just put one plant in there…
