Did anyone ever have a plant that dwarfed didn’t grow high but full of flowers
Auto or photo? Autos produce small plants at times.
It’s a photo, I never had this happen
I’ve seen it happen with autos many times. Never with a photo though.
All the other photos are about 7 1/2 8 feet I don’t know what happened to this one
I am in the north east and June was nothing but all rain in cold temperatures I wonder if that affected it
The tallest plant I’ve managed so far was a little over 20 inches tall (GG4 auto). She ended up producing 8 oz of absolutely stellar weed.
Never discount the “dwarfs”. And you haven’t seen a dwarf until you’ve seen a fully budded out 5 inch tall plant.
It’s genetic, most likely.
Having just come through the May where it didn’t rain, and June where it never stopped plus it was cold - that particular plant seems as if it wasn’t happy with that.
I’m in NJ but I grow indoors.
I am in northeast PA originally from Newark New Jersey we had a real bad June
Between cold and so much smoke you can see what you breathe it was really a mess.
Huh have I seen any? Yup! Mine are Autos and I know Autos aren’t very big But my first batch this season only three of seven were tall,(If you wanna count 2 feet plus tall ) My Mexican airlines Auto was about 1ft tall but man!! So trichy…with a fat cola and pretty smelly…for an Auto …I wish all of them came out that way…Im not thrilled that the Mex came out small BUT…Its my best plant of this first batch…so far…
My Lemon Larry…It does have a lemony smell…
Thats only one of a few that dwarfed out this 1/2 season…
Curious. This is the outdoors thread but the picture shows your plant by the window as though she were an indoor plant. If the plant was grown outdoors then July 8 would be too soon for a photoperiod plant to have flowered without some intentional work. If you haven’t done anything to force her to flower she would seem to be an auto. If she were an indoor-tent grown plant then she could have been made to flower at any time and her petite size could just be the result of early light transition.
I have a friend who bought some photoperiod seeds, grew them outside, and some flowered already in July. I’m thinking that somehow some auto seeds got mixed in by accident by the seller or pollen from autos managed to get into the photo side of the nursery there producing some auto genetics in the batch.
If you believe that you’ve received auto seeds mixed with photo you should contact the distributor and let them know they might have an issue.
I had a similar result on a couple of GG4 autos.
Very wet June/July in New England. It was a pain, but I moved the 2 plants under an overhang when heavy rain was forecast so they wouldn’t be over watered. Both plants grew to only 28" but super loaded with sticky buds. My first ever grow so pretty happy with the strain/ potential yield…
Smart move…My accidental plant last year survived a winter outside…I think since it was next to the house kinda covered under a small eve it didn’t get damaged by frost or rain… I had good luck with my GG4 auto as well…very sticky and had a nice smell to her…Its also the potentdank…
Your first ever grow and you have some really good smoke you grew yourself…Way to go man!! Feels good dont it!
The dwarf is the first photo
Man that second pic…Those are some tall girls…Id rather have bigger plants too…But my last dwarf Auto Mexican Airlines was the when it came to sticky trichomes and smell…The one on the left in the white bucket has some thick colas…
I like the photo plants ,and they do big tall.
