I started a couple of Jack Herer autos last March, moved them outside in grow bags late April. They are now full of flowers. But not yet 3 feet tall. Is that normal?
We love pics of pot porn. Autos grow at their own pace and on their own time. That is a good size for autos! Some other who grow autos have had them at 12" and harvest.
I grow auto all the time I never ever seen them hitting 3’ or better 20"to 30" max In a perfect environment
Thank you. That’s a relief.
Hi, 1st time auto grower here. We had a rough start but she’s pulling through but skinny. Do you pinch them to bush them out? Or will they bush out on their own?
This is her today. Thanks!
More direct intense light is what it takes to make them bushy.
Thanks! I have her in a greenhouse outside. Not sure how I can accomplish that?
Genetics dictate how the plant will grow. You can’t control that. Sure you can train but the plant if left untouched will grow the way it wants to.
Example….
I did not train this plant and you can see how she looked before I pulled her. I did not take photos of the whole plant at the end since I was turning the plant mainly amber trichomes.
Here is one of the flowers nicely developed. Also my first time to achieve a color change.
I may be wrong but to my eye, the material the greenhouse is made of diffuses/shades the sunlight too much for cannabis. For garden veggies it is probably ideal but our girls are absolute photon hogs. Unless you need to keep it out of sight, it needs to be in direct sunlight.
I grow indoors under approx 300 watts of light just 20 or so inches from the plants. I control how stretchy the plant gets by raising or lowering the lights.
You can also LST and/or top the plants will also make them bushier.
