Hey all,
Got a couple questions if y’all could help me out that’d be great! So last year was my first year to grow and I burnt up a lot of plants. I guess now I’m scared of doing the same thing. Started these a few weeks ago and put them outside maybe a couple weeks ago and have just gotten back around to check on them. On a couple of the plants the bottom leaves have turned yellow. Looks like a rabbit might have nipped on a leaf here or there too.
Strain; Type, Bag seed, or NA-Durban Poison
Soil in pots, Hydroponic, or Coco? 2 different organic blends from wal-mart. 25%-pertilite
System type?n/a
PH of runoff or solution in reservoir?n/a
What is strength of nutrient mix? None at the moment
Looks like they are hungry. I would give them some
Nutes but start out with 1/4 - 1/2 strength and see how they react. It’s easier to add more than to take some away.
Got 8 plants. If I fed them once a week and let Mother Nature take care of the rest, how much water/mixture should I give each plant? Don’t want to give them 1/4 nutes but 4x too much water! Just trying to figure this stuff out.
Ive never grown outdoors so I’m not sure how
Much water you would want to give them. I’m sure you will want to give them the same amount of water if they were inside but whengrowing inside i water so that around %10 comes out the bottom of the pot but since you are outdoors you won’t have any water coming out the bottom.
Looking at the size of your plants I would say you could probably give each of them a half a gallon of water but I would wait for others to comment to be safe.
There should be a feeding chart included in the box to give you an idea of how much nutrient to mix per gallon of water. If not you could probably find one on there website.
Hey Beans, my watering schedule starts from the time I started them inside, and yes It looks like you’re burnin your plants up. I hate to say this but watering outside isn’t as easy as it seems sometimes. Yes your plants will tell you what they need , and yours are/do need something , I baby my plants outside as well and check on them every two to three days, and by now you should have them on some type of light feeding schedule, I’m uncertain of what you’re using but start it 1/4 yes ,but get and keep the plants on a regular watering schedule say once every 2-3 days , and about a cup or less at a time for now for your size plants, Its hard to tell for me because I cant see your soil but I believe I have an idea what you’re using and your plants are in need of some nutes, other than that, I believe they should come back strong. Relax they don’t look too bad yet at all, it may take them a few days but they should be OK.
Remember to use a good organic bug repellent , I use “Garden Safe” insecticide, miticide and urinate around your plants also to within 2 feet, animals hate it and us.
You’re doing fine , keep us informed <*)))><{
Another heartbreak. Not my fault this time. Went to feed yesterday and when I got there the whole cutover was brown. Forestry dept sprayed it last week. Apparently what they spray kills everything except pine trees. Maybe one day I’ll have a plant I can post on here.
I know right?!?! I have a few other seeds started that a buddy gave me that he said were supposed to be good. Photos though.
I have 20 BB autos and 20 AK autos on the way so I’ll give some of them a go before season gets away from me.
