I’m a firm believer you can add scrog late in veg. I’ve seen it done.

That’s a hell of a lot of cutting down, would I have to worry about it turning hermaphrodite? Cos I wouldn’t want that
You can clear below the net once they come up thru and are thriving. I didn’t clear enough but I can still see clearly thru from one side to the other of my 6 plants. And I have a small fan running under the canopy as well so having less allows for good air flow.

Ok then looks like I’ve wasted a bit of growth and time, it’s time for a mega trim, I have her in the kitchen now, so I’m gonna take some before and after pictures, god help me i hope I’m doing the right thing, my sister is saying I’m mad, this has been my only successful plant out of 5 seeds,thanks @Matthew420

You don’t have to do it all at once. Do some tonight, wait a couple days, do some more. If it helps. I was nervous, which is why I didn’t do enough then flower hit and they exploded in size.

I also used 2 layers of netting so if you look at pics, keep that in mind. The top layer is just to hold the colas from tipping over, although they’re really holding themselves up. Then under the mass is another layer of netting that I weaved thru.

She’s only 1 plant believe it or not, so was fimming her worthwhile if I’m doing this? How long after trimming her right back and weaving her through the netting did you put her on 12/12

I did the net from the start so it was kinda part of the grow. It’s like 15 or 17 inches above the soil. I mostly started really trimming about a week or 2 before 12/12 when I could see branches that I knew wouldn’t make it up top.
