So this is my Durban poison at 7 daus since going to 12/12. She is really a thick girl and has been really hassle free thus far. Shes been topped multiple times and a little LST along the way. Currently she has no tie downs and is just growing normally. Would it be advisable for me to put a scrog net on her or just let her be. She has entire 2x4 to herself so space is not a problem. Also should i do more defoilating. Ive took a bunch off her since birth. Thanks in advance to all of you. Best growers on the planet!! Cheers.

I think I’d just let it go. It looks a lot like my OG kush plant on day 25 of 12/12. I’ve got a net, but I don’t think it’s doing anything.

Thanks just trying to see pros and cons. I actually had the net on and took it off. I really like to rotate my plants around and like i said shes got the whole 2x4. Im feeling with the net shes in place for the duration.

Since you just flipped she should be stretching at a decent pace. You could nip a couple of bigger leaves for some better air flow and if you want lay a trellis net (scrog) over her and start tucking branches down you can. I’d just take a couple leaves, then let her go honestly. Hit her with a heavy defol in 2 wks and clean out the bottom 1/3 of the plant and all fan leaves.

So you would put the net on her right now or wait a couple weeks until final defoilating.

That is a really healthy looking plant. Nice structure and lots of tops. I don’t use a net, like you, I like to move them around some.
I would do some LST and spread it out as much as possible. I don’t think I would remove anything just yet. Wait until the stretch gets going and see how she looks then.

I don’t use a net, but you can put it at canopy level, and as it stretches, tuck the branches. And at 3wk defol, I take about 90% of the fan leaves with over an inch long stem. Then 2 weeks later, snip those and pretty much let them ride. I try not to stress them after the 3wk defol.
@AfgVet has scrog experience. She is a supreme being here on the forum. Maybe she’ll have a couple tips.

Thanks appreciate that. Growing straight organic in coco loco. Top dress every 3 or 4 weeks. Its crazy how much ive removed off her already. I left for a golf outing for 4 days and my wife forgot about her. Ill post pictures of what she looked like 2 days ago. It was a shock when i saw her.

I know she needs a little more thinning appreciate your feedback. Shes crazy thick growing under HLG 350R Diablo. Just got her to about 90 percent.

Really shows each individual bud sight. But was really freaked out. This was 2 days ago. She was fine the next morning after a good watering. Lol

Since you already flipped her to 12/12 I’d let her go and do some LST to open her up.
When I scrog I leave them in veg until they have filled about 2/3 of my screen. That way the stretch fills the rest of the space
