Hey everyone! Im a first time grower and need some help along the way. I have 2 plants that came from random seeds i was given so im not sure what they are. The plants have the little white hairs sticking out, preflowering. I just got a mars hydro 2x2x55 grow tent kit. Before that i just had them out in my basement. I just started giving them bloom nutrients when i put them in the tent which was this last weekend. 0-5-4 are the numbers of NPK on the bloom nutrients.
Tent temp is in the upper 70’s when lights are on and mid to low 70’s when dark. My humidity is about 50%. I noticed yesterday my plants leaves are drooping. Not too sure whats going with that. I dont water them every day and when i do water them i stop when water starts coming out the bottom and fills the tray the pot sits on. They are growing in coco coir.
None of the leaves are turning any type of color they are just dropping. Is this a sign of over watering?
And does anyone know anything about nutrilling nutrients made by the Royal Team?
They are what im using for my nutrients and i got a whole line of products that said they work together. They all came together. Some say to use at phase, but do i really use all of them at once? Not real sure how they are supposed to be used in conjunction with each other. Any help id appreciate thank you!
Welcome to the grow.
Not a coco guy myself but I know coco likes the be watered daily. It doesn’t do great when it’s dried out.
Unfamiliar with those nutes but the npk looks ok. Seems like maybe a little early to be adding a bloom to them based on how they look. How old are they??? Usually there’s a schedule to follow with nutrient lines.
The nodes seem spaced pretty far apart which means they may not be getting enough light. What are you using for a light???
Welcome to the forum! A lil more info and will get ya rolling! Your girls look hungry. Not sure about your budget, but a decent set of ph & ppm meters will help immensely. Just getting to coco myself but I have learned that your ph needs to be in the 5.8 range and assuming your girls are 4-5 weeks old or so if the are showing sex? Water/ feed daily w your coco get risers under your pots and clean up the run off. Keep your coco damp not soaked. Feed at 5-600 ppm and bump up as they adjust. Ps what light did you get and where’s it set at? Nutes look interesting never seen them before! I would do some homework on the nutes maybe start at 1/4 strength. I see humic in the forest charm . Ps ton of people running coco the search bar holds a plethora of info! Let’s bring a couple growers in @OGIncognito @Low @ChittyChittyBangin @Hershy420
gotta get to bed!
Appreciate the tag @Thumper. I didn’t see any perlite in the coco which helps with drainage, with that said it’s hard to overwater using coco and would recommend keeping the coco in a damp consistency…feed daily or every other day. A PH and TDS meter are critical for a successful grow. You could get by without a TDS meter following the nutrient brand’s recommendation but still risky. Keeping the PH in range is critical and a range for coco would be 5.8-6.2. Apera 20 is a great PH pen and very accurate and reliable. Don’t let the plant sit in the run off, immediately discard this, you don’t want the expelled salts from the synthetic fertilizer wicking its way back into the coco and root zone…this can create PH issues. As far as the nutrients go I would recommend the Royal Grower at 3/4 strength and once preflower happens add the the Bloom Spirit at 1/2 strength along with the Royal Grower. The environmental conditions look good, what ligjting are you using
