It didn’t look like this the day before, the coco was a little dry so I thought might just need a drink. Today was also feed day mixed up recommend amout of fox farm nutes and nothing happened so I didn’t think it was underwatered
Ok for future 5.8 is the optimal number for that media. Sorry for the typo I changed it. Yeah @Familyman is probably right but let’s tag @Screwauger (you use coco right? ) I’m too high at the moment to think of the other coco growers. lol
Moisture meter was indicating it was pretty dry all the way down so I watered with a nute solution ph to 6.0 because it was feed day anyway and the leaves never perked back up, somebody else told me nitrogen toxicity but idk
Dark leaves could be. But you’ll need to post pictures in regular lighting. If you’re feeding at full strength it could be but the leaf tips don’t look burnt. Put some regular lighting pics up and be patient. It’s pretty late for most the active people.
Are you supplementing with magnesium? Calcium? There’s no leaf discoloration that I can see under your grow lights, but a magnesium deficiency can start off with just droopy leaves, followed by discoloration. In coco, you need to add calcium & magnesium. Magnesium issues can also happen from overwatering.
I’m no expert, just throwing my thoughts into the hat.
Thanks for filling out the support ticket @BigRed1. Initially, I suspect you are underwatering them.
I use coco and water every other day with 1/4 to 1/2 nutrient dosage. When I water, I water to significant run-off - about 1/4 of the water I dump in comes out the bottom. I have 10 gallon fabric pots and each gets watered about 2-2.5 gallons (11-12 liters).
Some coco users will recommend daily watering.
What size pots are you using and do they have the ability to drain freely out the bottom? About how much water did you use in your last feeding?
pH or (potential Hydrogen) - the measure of soil’s acidity or alkalinity, measured on a scale of 1 to 14. Water is considered neutral at PH 7. PH levels below 7 are classified as acidic, or “sour”. Levels above 7 are basic, alkaline or “sweet”. Most plants prefer a slightly acidic soil pH of 6.0 to 6.5. from HTGM
