Droopy only in sunlight?

Hello everyone. so I got a weird problem going on. I have two photos outside and it seems like one of my girls does NOT like direct sunlight. She will look great in the shade and I’ll move her out to get some sunlight and she looks droopy. So I feed her and she perks back up but then looks droopy again. So i moved her back into the shade and she perked right back up within 30 mins. I think im going crazy cause i have a plant that doest like the sun lol. They are both in a 5 gal fabric pot with 70% coco and 30% perlite. They are on a 500ppm and 5.5-5.8 ph water. They are getting fox farm nutes. And they are about 35 days old. An i should mention that my other girl gets the same amount of stuff and she is doing great in the sun. She usually stays praying.

When you say move from shade to sunlight
Is she still outside but just shaded as in still basically same temperature and humidity but just not in direct sun?

Or is it brought inside a building where possibly a big difference in temperature and humidity as well?

Still outside. Just moved to a shaded area.

Optimal exposure to direct sunlight falls between 6 to 8 hours daily. It’s weird that she doesn’t like the sun, there must be another factor

Plants need an adjustment period when moved outside. It’s called hardening off, give them a few hours of exposed sunlight daily for a week or so then they can be moved to direct sunlight :love_you_gesture:

Is that the same for the girls who were planted outside. She hasnt had much inside time… only time shes come in is into my heated garage cause temps dropped into the 30s a couple nights ago.

This is what she looked like yesterday after she went into the sun lol

This is them this morning. Are they considered in early veg? Im new to this so im trying to learn everything i can. I did start stash, cal mag, and FF Grow big this morning. I gave about a fourth of what the bottles called for.

Looking good, depending on how intense the direct sunlight is…you could shade them with something during those hot peak hours. Another week or so and they should be adjusted :love_you_gesture:

I believe they need more feed. You see how the lady has saggy leaf and stem in the picture? That is usually underwatered. Overwatered is a saggy leaf and straighter stem. Coco needs to stay moist and i could not imagine trying to grow in coco outside. You will for sure need to water twice a day, really soon. Ive never had issues with seedlings that were started outside so i dont believe the hardening off thought is the problem but could cause same symtom if was the case. Good luck keeping them puppys moist, when the coco dry’s out the tds actually raises, so my advice…feed more then you think you need (amount)

They look otherwise healthy.
You don’t have to hardened off if they are started outside.
That why i ask if taken inside then outside to eliminate the need for “slow adjustment”.

You 500ppm feeding sounds on par with what i feed about that size, ph is good.

From the picture it does seem like maybe underwatered

Are you getting plenty of runoff and soaking the pot good daily?

If they are in coco-coir and perlite without any organic matter in the media, they need feed daily from the start.
