Dreams of blue and purple

I did distilled this feed. Kinda figured after the flush give them what I gave them when we hit the numbers right the first time. Looking back at my log. May be possible go ahead and recal my pen again. I’ll have that done and ready for next feed. I need to test my tap water to see what its numbers are.

As you know, I’m not a big fan of the Fox Farm Trio especially in extended veg

however if it were me, I would kill that distilled water and use tap water with your Fox Farm nutrients while in veg. Give you a little more range of nutrients.

Let’s say your tap water was 275 PPM right out of the tap

Tap Water 275ppm (yes this counts toward total PPM)
Calmag 125ppm
Big bloom (4ml 150 PPM)
Grow Big (4ml 150 PPM)

That’s 700ppm going in. Try that and see what it runs off.

If you run off is less than a 1000ppm feed more big bloom and grow big (base nutrients) on next feed until you hit the magic number of **total intake ppms ** That it takes to run off 1000 ppm

It’s actually very simple.

Let’s take a look at something else. Fox Farm Trio 1 L bottles

Advanced Nutrients Trio 1 L bottles

Okay, I’m not a mathematician but let’s look at some numbers and statistics real quick (we’ll go with the simple numbers) 1-2-3

Okay here we go…

# 1.) ($59 vs $36) I believe that means Advanced Nutrients pays you $23 to switch to their product ($59 vs $36)

#2.) how many posts on this form has a related pH problem?

A: Fox Farm
Results found 40,416

B: Advanced Nutrients
Results found 0

#3) how many posts on this form has a deficiency related problem?

A: Fox Farm
Results found 6,946

B: Advanced Nutrients
Results found. 24

Like I said I’m not a mathematician but if you go find one and run these results by them they might have a answer. In conclusion, when you get tired of the bull shit that you go through grow after grow with Fox Farm Trio. Advanced Nutrients is ready to pay you $23 to come to them and give them a try (I’m not telling you to switch whatsoever) we love the create own hell.

Just food for thought

Sounds good and I will most likely be switching. Also thought about the jacks

I’ll get my pH pen, recalibrated and tapwater ppm’s measured this week.

I would scrap the liquid nutes entirely and switch to granular nutes in soil. The soils that you have chosen have nutes already added. I made the same mistake that you have made with my first grow. Liquid nutrients are salt based, the salts are causing problems. Granular nutes are generally organic, i.e., carbon based and be broken down microbially, slowing availability.

Like cut it out now? I will lol. I’ll order that shit now and it will be here before next feed. Just wasn’t sure if I could.

I have used Fox Farm Happy Frog® All-Purpose and Happy Frog® Fruit & Flower with good results

Jack’s is good as well. You’ll still fight the pH but it’s better than Fox Farm

Newbie’s mistake. I got that for my first grow but didn’t use it bc my photos were accidentally sent as autos. And I just gave them water cal mag seaweed and molasses. I harvested lol. I’m thankful. Just trying to be better. I’ll do some research on the advanced nutes and jacks. I’m assuming you use the advance?

I only grow autos and I do use Advanced Nutrients. Every grow is always the same. 3 months of feeding twice a week then put them back in the tent.

If I switch right now is that going to be ok?

Many have made the switch in the middle of a grow with no issue. The pictures above shows you’re having some type of an issue now.

How old are these plants? If I recall, you had a rocky start and we got you on top of everything yet this seem like a very long time ago. These plants have been vegging since Dec. That’s like 4 months. The growth doesn’t match. Something’s not copesthetic in my opinion. These things should be eight times that size.

Born on date Jan 1st

Even 3 months to be this small is not correct. I’ve seen autoflower runts (stun midgets) but never photos. They definitely look stunned

I’ll order advanced tonight. Just the 3 basics that you posted above? Anything else need added? I have cal mag and Unsulfured backstrap molasses

I’m not big on a lot of Advanced Nutrients additives. Nevertheless, this is when I suggest.

Micro Grow Bloom (bass nutrients)
Bud Candy (microbial feed)
Voodoo Juice (microbial life)
B-52 (is a B that enhanced plant metabolism, nutrient uptake, and resilience to stress,)
Big Buds (hands down one of the best bud enhancers on the market.

The above is when I consider absolutely necessary.

On another note, just kind of going back looks like we corrected some issues a good while ago. I know you’ve topped and trained these girls since. They definitely grew some but in my opinion nowhere near the amount that they should. I’m not one to hold back on saying anything but it’s it within my opinion these girls are never going to do anything close to normal for a photo should. And I’ll be honest it’s the first time I’ve ever seen a photo do this.

With that said, I don’t think a nutrient switch is going to fix anything. I think this damage is totally done. (I know that’s not what you want to hear but the pictures above are showing me nothing positive)

I don’t see a group picture. (Pictures of all the girls) Do you have a recent one you can snap off?

This pictures posted 3 days ago…

The two up front look better as far as growth but still should be way far ahead. The one in the back concerns me the most. If memory serves we adjusted these girls at about 45 days old. So they basically grown this much in 45 days as I recall them being as small as my pointer finger 45 days ago.

So yes I see some definite positive growth. But damn they’re going to be some little girls. Now that I get a bird’s eye view of the whole tent I believe switching will have a benefit just not sure how much.

The two plants in the front look unhappy from maybe being woken up with lights on in recently fed. The one in the back just totally looks miserable. She’s got some issues that we can address I’m just very amazed that they haven’t grown at least two to three times bigger than they have. (Maybe I’m expecting too much?)

I’ve seen a lot worse looking plants bounce back with only two base only feeds of Advanced Nutrients.

Are you fighting a spider mite problem ?

Have no mites. Just them little “good” bugs but I’m catching lady bugs and placing them in tent as well. Sticky traps. And the spray I was referred to get burnt the leaves good so haven’t used the spray since.

I’ll order everything you suggest and be ready for next feed. I’ll produce new tap water numbers also before I can feed so we can get a game plan together.

I’ve topped twice now and I’ll get new pics tonight for you. I just had to tie them down again this morning. I think they grew 2 inches in 3 days.
