I’ve got these trichomes

On this bud

Seems like I still have quite a few white pistils but the trichomes look ready.
Opinions?
As always, thank you very much.

Lighting can sometime be deceiving. There’s not enough in the picture to conclude bit at least 1 still looks glassy.

Ah, you’re right. I know better too. I’ll try again.

Thanks @WickedAle. A couple of the sugar leaf tips are yellowing a bit so I’m getting all excited that I’m close.

What are the strain recommendations and how long since pistils and/or flip? I take the timing as a minimum and then work from there.

Haha really liked the name of the thread :wink:

What strain is she?

I would say she’s had pistols for 4-5 weeks. She’s in her 10th week from seedling which puts her right at the strain time for finishing. She had a tough childhood though.

She’s a Jack Herer auto. She’s the runt. There’s a fat twin sister sitting next to her.

Timing is from flower not seed. Autos take a lot longer than people think.

I was going by this from one of Bergman’s grow guides.
“Flowering time
Indica: harvest after 8 weeks of flowering
Sativa: harvest after 10 weeks of flowering
Autoflower: 10 weeks from [seedling]”(Cannabis Seedling , Our How-to Care Guide with Stages!) to bud

The ruderalis genetics allows the plant to enter flowering without changing the lighting, but the genetics do not provide fo faster flowering. It still takes the same time as the photoperiod mother before the ruderalis cross. This is widely misunderstood so you are not alone.

Here’s another shot but the LEDs on the scope really throw a reflection.

That is an excellent explanation. Thank you. I have calmed down and will sit on my hands.

Yup. Still glassy. 3-4 weeks. About right considering where you are in flower.

Looked for flowering time on ILGM seed shop for Jack. As suggested, not much difference.

Fem: 60days
Auto: 56 days
