Dragsterdad First indoor grow White Widow

is

Ok today I think my babies look really well and happy. They have had a rough time and I know I set em back a couple weeks with my attempted murder by h2o.
Yesterday I trimmed the remaining dead :skull: stuff off and lowered the light some. I lowered it another inch today. So it’s at 24 in.
2 days ago I watered from the bottom. Not a lot but still SLIGHTLY moist today. The roots loved it in 2 days I can see them in the clear cups and most are reaching out the holes in bottom
So should I put them in a 1 gallon airpot this weekend ???
Or bigger. I was thinking 1 gal to keep me from drowning them again🧐
I know at 27 days above ground they are small. My bad. They are stunted but now they seem good so I’m pleased with that.
And their QBs are almost ready to go in. And for what it’s worth I put some pics of my room in there.
Peace out :v:

The plants DO look good and I love your space. It wont be long until you forget about the water incident because those plants will soon TAKE OFF. Keep up the good work

Thanks Just checked them and almost all have roots reaching holes at bottom of cups
So was hopin to wait till plants grew bigger leaves to transplant. I’m going to 1 gal airpot this weekend. Then to a 3or 5 gal pot

Hey y’all check this out.
Second pic is the Bestva 3000 watt light.
Actually pulled 473 watts at wall.

First pic is my new HLG 320 xl v2 Rspec turned all the way down at 100 watts
Hangin at 30 inches above me little ladies.
I’ll give it a day to get used to it and then lower it down some

Did a search on here and the numbers are all over the place
What are good light distances at different plant stages

Height is going to be dependent on how much space you’re trying to cover and how hard you’re running the light. At full power for flowering plants, I probably wouldn’t run it any lower than something like 16". With plants in pic dimmed nearly all the way probably 24-30".

Every space is going to be a little different. Start a little higher and low power. Then watch plants and gradually increase intensity by increasing power, lowering light, or both.

Sounds good. Just needed some general guidelines.
I will say these QBs lights are amazing. The other led weighed a ton. The bars were sagging and just heavy. These QBs are well…amazing

Haha makes the Blorple look dark

Why so many transplants? Is it about space? If not why not go from the cups to the final pots? Just my opinion, i am only on my second grow. But thats what i would do: your girls are looking very good, i love the set up and i agree the QB’s are simply amazing.

These girls have had a rough time from my old watering habits. And I figured going up to the one gallon would help me water correctly.
I have enough 3 gal pots to go to that now.
They are photos so I’m not sure if final pot should be 3 or 5.
What do y’all think
Put them in 3 or 5 gal pots

From what i know the larger the pot the larger the plant! You would want to take into account the space you have to fill and the number of plants your putting into it. The experts will have a mathematical answer :kissing_heart:

That was suppose to be :joy::joy::joy::joy: slip of the finger :scream:

:joy::joy: is there a badge for first kiss

Anyways If the plants reach 4 ft or so I think I’ve read on here to go in a 5 gallon. So I can do that. Room indoors will get tight so a few may go outside.
I will just have to be careful with h2o :white_check_mark:

I’ve put my last 2 in 5 gal buckets when 8 inches tall and with good roots and I’m for sure no expert but I think it’s up to the individual and what fits your plan. Good luck

So I checked in on the babies this morning. Last night was their first overnight under the new QBs. What a difference in the plants after only one night. All of them looked very happy. Best I’ve seen in them. I’ll post some pics when I get off work :seedling::seedling:

And today we repotted 10 went in 5 gals and that’s when I knew that I didn’t have enough. So 6 went in 3 gal pots. All had great root structure so hopefully they will take off soon

Ok so 4 days after repot into their big girl pots. They all look happy and are growing and are looking healthy to me. Just watered again took 2 days to dry out. Gave 1/2 a solo cup to each in a circle. After it soaks in the moisture goes about 6-8 inches down which is just a little further than the roots were
I am taking great pains to not overwater or over love em and just leave em alone.
I will be adding the other light soon
What do y’all think. I know they are stunted but l feel that we are heading in the right direction after all we’ve been through

Yea. Not sure what I was thinkin popping that many for my first grow. All I can say is when I was racing YOU GO BIG OR GO HOME. Lol
I am getting 2 more lights so I should have space for 12 indoors. Maybe more but will be tight. 4 will probably go outside weather will be ok for 2 months or so
Or maybe expand my room or something. When I get to that point and all plants are alive :+1:t2: I will have a solution
These weeds are already keeping me busy now Especially on water / nute days.
Thanks to this forum and all that have helped.
