Before I order these from Amazon just wanted to see if they really work. Im a soil grower and really don’t have much issues with my PH levels in the soil. Usually stays around 6.8 but in my last grow I noticed it jumped to 7 and 7.2. Let me know if you think it’s helpful.
I use that brand and it does work
Cool, thanks.
I use the G.H. products.
Going from 7.2 to 6.8 will only take a few drops.
No need to buy a lot. I still have the 8oz ph down from 3 years ago. In my experience pH up takes more to work than down does.
Same here @Spiney_norman I never use PH down Still have the 1st bottle I bought. The nutes drive my ph down so I’m always using PH up before feeding . On water day tap water needs a couple drops to get to the sweet spot.
Oh my…i use ph down more. Weird how all so different. just boggles the mind
Gotcha. We have well water and the ph is 6.2. Im just assuming thats why the fluctuations are so small.
Y’all are lucky, I’m on my second quart bottle of pH down. But my tap water is pH 7.8 and I’m guessing has a fair about of calcium carbonate buffering against the change.
Citric acid kills micros and bacteria in your soil if you use it pultiple times to bring ph down you have to be careful with it my friend happy growing
I use white vinegar and baking soda into ph up or down. Doesn’t usually take much.
It’s citric acid that kills Limon juice also
The commercial water dispenser provides 7.5 or higher water (or my jugs have residual).
The digital PH liquid meter is a lifesaver. Much less wasted water or time. Easier to balance batches or gallons, at a time. Apple cider vinegar for PH down?
Yeah , I’m also on well water around 6 ph Winter and summer.
Just use white vinegar to liwer ph and use baking sode to raise ph. It dont take much and there are other uses for them too. I use the white vinegar to lower ph every feeding and have zero problems. Also a lit cheaper.
Good to know. Thanks for the info.
