Does pot size matter? Less pots that are larger vs many smaller pots?

I wanted to get an idea of experience of grows inside in regards to using two large 5 gallon pots vs 8-10 smaller 2 gallon pots. I’m looking to use a 3x3 tent. I’ve read multiple responses regarding this but wanted to hear from this forum mainly.

Two 5 gallon pots with 2 plants in a 3 x 3 space will work fine. :v::+1:

More big is you pot, more big is you plant
In 3x3 I should run 3gl pots

Happy growing🤘

Less pots (usually larger) = longer veg time to get larger yield. More pots (usually smaller) = less time to get similar yield

I go with bigger pots. Less work. Big yield. More fun…lol. last 8 pot 2gallon i did was disappointing. Everything in 5 or better now. Medical gg always trans to a 20. Just me. Man i have a stack of 2 and 3 gal cloth pots in closet lol. This is 1 gg in a 20 and 3x3. She is asleep amd told me shut the door after picture.

These are six 1 gallon tall pots in a 2x2 frame.

Six weeks later - all are clones

In the same space in the above picture I grew 12 clones in 6" nursery pots.
You can grow in solo cups. The plants won’t be as large you just grow more of them.
I have a 3x3 tent. I usually try to grow 4 photos in it using 5 gallon fabric pots. I could easily use three gallon instead.
For kicks I am going to grow one plant in a 5 gallon pot this time.
In all cases you train and prune the plants to the space given it.

I have done 5, 3.5 gal in a 3x3 but 4 5 gal is alot more comfortable. Only auto’s so far but I imagine with photo you could do one plant in a 3x3 and fill the whole tent. Just take a lil while.

I done a white widow auto in a five gallon fabric pot and i got 9 ounces dry
