Does it look ok for 3.1 wks?

Very healthy. It would benefit from more light.

Water such that the soil can dry out every 2 to 3 days. These dry cycles are very important for root health.

Keep in mind that overwatering isn’t necessarily too much at one time, but rather watering too often and not providing these dry cycles. It will be a good idea to water to runoff once the plant gets bigger in the next couple of weeks.

What are you using for lighting?

Right now I only have a heat lamp that’s actually for reptile cages but it’s been working and I’ve adjusted a few times brought it too close maybe about 8 in from it while it was a little smaller but it seemed to be too much light so then I brought it back up and curly it’s about a foot from the plant give or take but it’s been working I was going to within the next week or so hopefully get another lamp of the same exact kind

Cannabis needs a tremendous amount of light to be productive. No lamp or lighting from a big box or hardware store is going to be effective. Suggest getting a light built with Samsung LM301 diodes. Horticulture Lighting Group, AC Infinity, and Spider Farmer all make decent lights. Suggest 200 watts from LM301 diodes when growing a single plant.

Noted, will a second one be sufficient or just do away with all together?

Do what you need to do, but there are no bulbs that will be effective. Youll end up with a tall lanky plant that doesn’tproduce mmuch.

Ok I will fix it ty for the help

Also when do u recommend starting LST?

@MidwestGuy has it right, @Rjthagoat. You should put the reptile light back in the reptile habitat.

A light with adequate intensity and spectra will get you on track for your first grow and harvest. Don’t wait too long, your plant is more than ready for more light.

The great growers here will guide you to a successful harvest. :+1: :man_mage:

When you have adequate light, you can start LST. Without the light intensity there is little point to LST.

Hope you have drain holes in that bucket

Here’s a couple pics that illustrate the difference good lighting makes:

Looking good! Welcome to the forum.

@Rjthagoat welcome to the forum dude. This hobby may cost more than you expected. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Looks healthy! As others have stated, a more intense light, with high quality LED’s is almost necessary indoors.

I noticed you posted in the autoflower category so I’m gonna say this is an auto. Being 3wks old, she will more than likely start transitioning from veg to flower in a couple/few weeks. Getting a more adequate light is going to crucial at this point.

Without good lighting, the buds will be fluffy and airy. Proper lighting will help ensure more dense, solid buds.

@T-ray is right on with expense of hobby, ive currently spent more on these two little girls than i would have spent buying weed over the next year or more. This is 7 days above ground.

Youll find lots of good info here gromie and your lighting in my experience will be your single most important expense.

@MikWya girls look healthy!

In the past 3 months, I bought all ACI equipment for a 2 plant grow with 3 five gallon containers for catching RO, a Apera PC60, fabric pots, a 44 pint dehumidifier, a microscope, and countless other odds and ends. Forgot Jacks nutes. Not sure what the total is but definitely in the 4 figure range the left side of the decimal. No regrets here at all. Ms. T-Ray wants a season with the equipment to her self. Her eyes light up when she peaks in the tent. This is just fun.

@T-ray lol, my wife took a peak inside my tent and said is that all you have so far, that was same day last sunday when i took those pics, she was very happy to see i cleaned up our spare room that had accumulated years of junk from kids wanting to store stuff they didnt have room for, had to take over that space before one of those kids got a hairbrained idea of moving back home :grimacing: nope nope nope not going to happen.

 :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:  I understand
