Remember when…. I’ve seen some thread lately in some posts talking about remember when…. Do you remember brick weed from the 80s? Oh remember that bird…. How much was a lid, what is a lid? How many joints in a lid? Do you remember………,
My father in law said a lid was a sandwhich bag full(four fingers) with the “lid” folded over top. Sold for $20, 1 lbs was $100. That was 1970s Chicago.
Poking holes in a coke can or making a pipe with a pencil and foil.
My wife the foil made pipe, I was the pop can bowl, back when we first met, especially when you didn’t have money for papers.
7th generation roach joint.
When I met mine, she had this electrical tape pipe. It was a 10mm with a steel rod taped into the ratchet square. I was impressed. I guess thats where her dad lost his 10mm?
That brick weed with the smashed seeds.
Yeah I forgot about the deep 4 or 5 mill one hitter socket
Plus the old rolling tray under the couch used to roll on and most important separate the seeds by tilting the tray and using the pack of paper to lift and roll the seeds down.
Classic.
Mine has the slant built in. This thing is 40 years old…but use it at least ten times a day. No seeds anymore, but old hablits die hard
It seems like every sweatshirt I own has a burnhole in the chest
I actually found a picture of it. This was 26 years ago. Thanks for this post @Kfeather
Wondering if Walgreens would report photos of smoking?
So true, good old fotomat or one hour photo shops
My early enjoyment was in the 90s but we still didn’t get good stuff in our neck of the woods. Twigs, dirt, seeds… maybe a third of our stuff worthless.
My stepmother had an educational
Moment with me, explaining a lid was a mayonnaise jar lid of weed when I asked. Also explained a lot of other particular recreational substances that I didn’t ask about. I’ve picked out plenty of seeds in my day, but humble beginnings of a beautiful future now.
How cool is that! Very cool!
Does anyone remember stealing the screens out of the faucet for your bowl?
