That is a lot of soils. Add up how strongly it is ammended. Might be hot. If pretty heavily ammended you will not use the nutes for weeks.
When usimg that nute line mix, let sit 30 minutes, check ph THEN of the solution. It regulates itself. Make sure ph has settled before adjusting. Wont need for a few weeks I am sure.

Groundswell I am currently using on one of my plants an I like it. But I’m new, my next round in December I was planning on Groundswell and the coco-peat combo from MotherEarth.

how can i find out the amended amount amd would yu recommend mixing the soil or just sticking to one bag when starting it as a seedling

This is what I found for that answer.

Analysis is on the bags. If it was me I would mix it all together in a bin. Well. Add perlite. Worm castings. Wet and let sit a couple weeks before planting in it. Even with liquid nutes a 2 week cook of the new soil will help breakdown the ammendments for uptake. Reuse this soil over and over. Just gets better even with liquid nutes. Add LIFE!!! That will by far do more for your soil/plant health than almost anything. Even if not living soil top dress the life is needed for proper uptake/ph adjustment/ disease protection especially in root zone. Can spread to bags to cook also after mixing it up.

For me thats not much soil. I do 4 plants 3 gallon containers. What you have should be goog for maybe 2. Mix together add 25 percent perlite by volume not weight. So three cans soil 1 can perlite.
If you leave fox farms nutrients sit for 30 minutes stir it back up.
It settles in the bottom quick. If not stired frequently it leaves a mess in bottom of the container.
You should need nothing but ph’d water for 4 to 6 weeks then start giving nutes mixed lightly working your way up.
Are you doing autos or photo?
How many you plan on doing?
Do you know the strain?
Do you have calmag on hand?
Do you have ph up/down on hand?
Do you have a way to check ph and ppm?
Just my opinion.

Because I tend to over-water, I need perlite
Perlite
Then last week I found this at the grow store

Disclaimer: I have some for my next grow, next month.

Previously I have used FFOF and FFHF but never enough perlite (by volume, not color or guessing).

FFOF
Good choices to you.

Still haven’t tried the ROOTS ORGANIC, either.

im doing a photo and the strain is gelato and i also have gsc but im planning on starting with gelato first and on the calmag i dont have any would yu recommend one ?
i also dont have ph down or up but i did just order it and also the ppm and ph meter so im waiting on that and with the soil yu recommend mixing them all and then adding worm castings?

so when i do have to add nutes what would i mix the nutes with just the grow big for now ? and would yu recommend any humidifier or if their needed ?

Just follow the nutrient directions. Start at half strength. I do not like humidifiers myself. Use only if you have to.

Why not?

Hard water here. More chances of mold. Deposits on equipment depending on type of humidifier. If using 1 I put in and control lung room over tent. Humidity down to 40 is very growable. I do it every grow. When i need a bump for vegging clones or just a large veg i turn off exhaust. Preventive mold protocol goes into effect. I do have a couple i just seldom use.

If you are going to use the trio from Foxfarms, here is a chart. Salt build up is real since they are synthetic and you will need to flush at some point to rid the bottom of your pots of all the salt.

so i got my oh down and ph up im waiting on my cal mag and them ph and ppm tester after that i will be ready but i do want to get a bigger grow light can yall point me in the right direction for a good
grow light and what about a grow tent vent do you think that would be helpful

Lighting if within your budget should have Samsung 301 diodes.
150-200 watts per plant
Good choices:
HLG, Spider Farmer, AC Infinity, Chilld, Mars Hydro

Keep in mind some mfg’s mis-state their wattage or label it based on the old HPS, MH lighting so a TS1000 from mars for example is not a 1000w light. It is meant to replace a 1000w ol skool light with LED’s and only has 150w total at 100%.

Blurples are out dated, need full spectrum.

I would make a few choices based on research and run them by the growmies before you pull the trigger. I been down that road.

I grow photo. My set up is a 55x28x80 inch tent 3 sh2000 sayhon lights with oshram chips 2 ac infinity t6 inline fans. I grow 4 plants kinda crowded.
Wish tent was 5x4x7 feet tent with 4 sh2000 lights.
Anyway tent is optional. Lights oshram chps or samsung chips are good. Lighting is key. If money is an issue buy good lights then worry about the other stuff.
Oh I also use 3 gallon air pots. Filled with promix BX and perlite and use the fox farm trio. Buy it by the gallon much cheaper. I do generous run off rarely flush even though they say to. A person probably should. I do a feed feed just water routine always with plenty of run off to keep the salts under control. Sometimes I feed feed feed water. Use the fox farm nutes at half strength. I have to go things to do. Hope this wasn’t TMI.

Just want to repeat lighting is the key. It unlocks all the goody’s. Then its nutrients. Then containers.
