Disabled vet, first time grow help

Do you guys think I will be fine with the Mars hydro sp 3000 for a 2x4 or should I go for a bar style light?

It’s between the sp 3000, kind led x420, atreum hydra 3200, and the AC infinity evo3.

I got the sp 3000 for $300 out the door. Should I return it and get a better light or will it provide good yields?

Also what do you guys think of north Atlantic seed co? Everyone raves about them on Reddit.

Sorry for all the questions.

Questions make you a better grower! Everyone here started with their first grow.

I have bought seeds from Beaver, Canuk, Seedsman, ILGM, and have seeds this year from Graysin Farms I am growing outdoors this summer.

@MeEasy I believe has grown seeds from North Atlantic and many other online stores.

Best to you!

Thanks for the tag Ms Bunny  hi @Breadstick69 I have a Mars Tsl2000 it’s pretty close to the sp I’m happy with it. I average somewhere between 3/4 to 1 pound per grow under it with 3 autoflowers it mostly depends on the strains I pick, some just produce more bud than others  Here’s pictures from the last two grows under my Tsl2000

As for North Atlantic I’ve heard good things about them but I haven’t used them myself

Can you tell me a little more about the auto pots? The website is kind of confusing, not really sure what they are. My back is fucked and it’s hard to bend at the waist and lift anything over the weight of a gallon of milk. Should I be looking into the auto pots to protect (the little that is left) of my back?

Welcome aboard to the community. Lots of vets here, usn myself.

Working on our 3rd grow, found this place less than a year ago.

Again, welcome aboard.

What strains would you recommend for a beginner from ilgm? I have horrable chronic pain I need a stain that is very strong.

Like with prescription drugs weed reacts differently to everyone so you have to try different strains until you find the one that works for you. I would look at the mixed pacs from ilgm, or go with other seed banks that offer 3 and or 5 seed pacs so you can try more strains for a lot less money.

My ol lady deals with pain from a nerve disease. She likes to smoke the 50/50 sativa indica or sativa leaning strains for daytime, but like to have a little more indica leaning strains for bed time. Her favorites seem to be most Critical and Cheese strains, not mixed together but the strains mixed with the two

@Breadstick69 i have grandaddy purp (100% indica) and Durban Poison ( 100% Sativa ) going right now. Critical Mass is a good one and also i enjoyed OG Kush. Sunset Sherbert gives me that relaxed yet still functional and i deal with chronic back pain everyday

I get the nerve pain. I have HORRIBLE sciatica in my left leg and nearly EVERY step with my left foot feels like a 3 inch construction nail going through the dead center of the arch…

“Doctors” tell me I’m “too young” for pain killers?? (I’m 30)

Cannabis and my dog are the only escapes I have from the mental and physical pain.

I can’t find it but I had a picture that showed a bunch of different strains and what medical help each one was best for, but of course I couldn’t find it  so I did a quick search and found this article on it, maybe it can point you in the right direction to get you some relief. I’m not allowed to post links but if a picture happens to show the site address it’s okay, doesn’t make much sense but it’s the rules we have to follow,

Hope this helps you out…

Also not just because it’s Memorial weekend but because I mean it everyday I thank you and any other veterans who might read this for your service to our great country :us::facepunch:

Been there doing that. Had L5 worked on in 1988.

We have 2 growing right now that each have 1% cbd from ilgm, purple punch and Dos-Si-Do. Upto 25 and 30 % thc. Both are supposed to be good for pain.

There is a bud call Critical Mass from another seed company that is over 20% thc and cbd. Would like to try that one for pain.

I appreciate the support. Remember memorial day is for those who have sacrificed their lives for this country. Veterans day is for those of us who enjoy living in safety because of our brothers and sisters sacrifices.

Not trying to bust your balls. I just don’t want to take credit for the courageous actions of those before me.

I can definitely sympathize with you on this. I had an accident in 02 that ruptured 3 and herniated 2 disks in my back had surgery on it in 07 just to make it worse. I’ve been on some kind of pain medication for over 20 years. I believe it is what caused all the other medical problems I’ve been fighting with for the past 10 years. So I recommend anyone who is taking Rx medicine to do whatever they can to get off of it
