Dimmable Led settings at 18 inches for seedlings?

Hello all, another newbie question. Any suggestions appreciated.
Just set up a sonofarm pro1000 Led board which I understand may be similar to the Mars hydro and spider farmer boards.

Sonofarm recommended height for seedlings is 24 inches at 40 percent power. My space only allows 18 inches. Any suggestions on how what percent power to run? The 4 inch difference may not even be something worth posting but figured I’d ask more experienced growers.

The stats on the Pro1000 are below

Veg footprint: 3 x 3 ft

Flowering footprint is 2 x 2 ft

Efficiency: 2.7 umol/J

Ratio & Layout: Full Spectrum 3000K, 5000K, 660nm, IR 760nm

Max Yield:2.5g/watt

Input Voltage: 100-277V AC

Lighting Power: 110W±5%

Frequency: 50-60HZ

Lifespan: 100,000 hrs

Size: 11.8″ x 9.5″

Certificates: CE, FCC, RoHS, UL

Search the “use dli” thread by @nicky. Idk your light, but this will be a good tool.

Start at 30-40%. If she starts to stretch, increase the light. If her leaves Start to fold up like a taco, decrease light. Hard to give exact numbers when every girl is unique. Till you find one to clone.

@Low I don’t think dli is really considered in the first two weeks. Just keep em around 10k lux to start out. Then crank it later. If you learn these meanings and what your light puts out. You won’t need to do all the dli stuff. Old school.

Not the thread I meant to link. But yeah, certain diodes can cause up to ~4% error in lux. Gotta know what’s in your light and capabilities of meter.

I imagine you’ll be bumping up to 60% to stop stretching pretty quickly. That’s only 110 watts at 100%

I run 100% and just adjust the light up or down as needed. I start around 30" ish , but I see it this way , when they pop out the first time they get 100% and they are now getting used to it fast. Just like in nature they get it all from the start.
