Different Strains In Same Packet

So, is it possible that I’ve received different strains? The more I mess with these two I’m beginning to think that. Both plants are treated identical to one another yet have different characteristics. My first grow, so I have no clue. I purchased GDP Autos from ILGM.
The right plant: shot up super fast, is about 8” taller than the other, thinner growth, purple flowers
The left plant: slow grower, remained shorter, but bushier, green flower, and has a somewhat off putting musky smell almost like poop.
And as you can see and if you’ve been following my other posts, both plants have experienced different side effects to deficiencies/excesses. I’m still trying to figure out what is going on with these, thus why they look like crap. I just hope to harvest soon before they go full crap…

It’s hard to get identical plants, unless they’re clones cut from a mother. Then when you throw in the auto gene you can really start seeing differences. I’ve had autos of the same strain stop at 12" and give me a half oz, and stop at 4ft and give me 5oz. Yours look good!

Interesting, but I can see that. Just never thought they could be so dramatically different from one another.

Yeah, as far as the growth I agree they look great. Just wish I could get to the bottom of their deficiency/nutrient excess. Or whatever the heck it may be.

Some peoples kids are dramatically different, too.
That’s life.
Its the magic inside the Magician’s wand, not the color of the wand IMO/IME

I mean, I guess.

But when I plant a pecan tree, it looks like a pecan tree. A Roma tomato, looks like a Roma. A celebrity tomato, looks like a celebrity tomato. A bell pepper, looks like a bell pepper. You get my picture.

I just did not expect to see a variance in these plants.

This is natural. I know it seems different but there is many different phenotypes of each strain. Some even more then others. No 1 has siblings that are all identical unless twins of course. Short, tall, fat, or skinny, eye color the list is endless. It would be awesome if they all grew the exact same, but it will never happen. Closest way is clone cuts from same mother from same generation. This is also why some growers will pheno hunt certain strains to a high degree.

Its not just autos, but photos are like that too. I have 4 sunset sherbert photos going into week 4 of flower and they all look different. Its all about which gene was dominate.

Grew one water only and had 2 in str8 coco and jacks nutes. Totally different in bud structure and plant color.

We like to use the example our brothers and sisters. Same mom and dad, yet my oldest brother got the heighth gene, middle brother had the speed gene, sister got the looker gene, and i got the hand me down gene lol. We all different, yet same parents.

Well they look more dissimilar in person than on the pictures I am realizing.
Wish the camera could keep the proper colors as it would be more apparent. Anyhow, thank you all.

I would bet that those 2 buds are different strains by color alone, until you put you nose into the grove bags, banana bread fresh out of the oven, no mistaking when smelling and smoking.

You see, that’s what gets me too. They smell different as well.
