Did I mess up topping my plant?

I just topped my plant. I think I lopped off too much? In the photo, I was probably suppose to take the single stalk…

I’m assuming plant will recover, but do I need to do anything?

It doesn’t matter you can take off as little or as much as you want the plant will never miss it.

As @plumbdand stated. She’ll be fine.

Plant will recover and be fine. But I like to take the very last growth. Separate the end with your fingers. Push the last growth sideways, and it’ll snap off.

No harm, no foul on a photo grown indoors. In fact, should help keep them from getting too close to the lights. Switching to flower light schedule will also help when veg is ready as she’ll stretch. Should also help with more bud sites than having a single apical Christmas tree. You can also try some LST by pinching and twisting stems but not removing growth. Looks great so far!

Thanks for all the insight!

When should I start LST?
(I plan on scrogging too. How long before I can start manipulating for that?)

Your plant is a toddler and should be allowed to recover from your topping before doing more. From that topping you will get two main cola’s. Once the plant is twice this size, you can start supercropping. Supercropping.
I use this twist but not remove tops method to then bend or tie down stalks to open up the canopy or start your sea of green. When you do the tops, instead of two stalks , it recovers and you get 4.. I grow outdoors so I crack every other node this way.
