Defoliating this auto

Seedman CBD Auto 4th week since sprouting. Almost lost her with an overwatering session that led to some bad N toxicity. Glad she made it through. Has been the biggest seedling and now biggest plant I have now.

It’s growing some great separated colas, but the main and couple sides are getting these massive 11 finger fan leaves. They look really cool, but do cover a lot of geography. I’ve defoliated down at the bottom, but didn’t know if I should start taking some off the top before flowering. Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

Nah maybe a few leaves between colas that dont get light but leave any leaf thats even getting at least half touched by light otherwise you can kneecap growth

Nice recovery and well done. Agree with @GreenSnek on the defoliation :love_you_gesture:

Now it terms of LSTing. At what point should I let them go vertical ie let the growth be more focused on current growth vs the new growth. The middle/tops are all so flexible still where I can take them down more and more horizontal if I wanted to. Been keeping them all relative to the height of the main stem. Plants in the pre-flower stage. Crazy how this stunted girl has recovered with a vengeance. I can’t even check the soil for dryness, the roots are all covering the top of the soil as well.

Looking great! The LST is good right now, their getting ready to hit the stretch and adjustments on the tie downs needed will be more obvious with keeping the bud sites exposed and creating and keeping an even canopy :love_you_gesture:
