I love the big island, I got married there in 2010. My wife and I plan to move there after the kids move out, hopefully well before we retire. Unfortunately the public schools there were not up to my wife’s liking.
My whole family from my dads side is from the big island. Unfortunately, all my relatives were extremely impacted in 2018 by the lava flows. All their homes near pahoa were buried. Even worse, my great grandpa donated his land to the state, and the park got buried too. His old place was the Ahalanui Hot Pond and Pualaa County Park. We scattered my dads ashes there in 2010 in the hot pond. It’s all reclaimed by Pele now.
Wow, thats just down the road about 40 mins. They are trying to reopen the marina there so folks can launch their boats and fish again. As usual some folks love the idea and others dont love it. Always a controversy here.
Yes, the schools still sux big time here. Al.ost as bad as the medical care here. So sad but education and professional jobs are not what people do here.
Hate to hear about the park being lost!!! That was a great thing he did for the community. LoL I feel you about the gray hair comment mine has been doubling in count every month here lately

I am growing 2 Girl Scouts, 2 Bruce Banners, 1 Do si do, 1 Gold leaf, 3 Purple punch.
They are 32 days and really stretching.

I’m running Durban poison or strawberry cough next for my photos. Just can’t make my mind up. Have you ever grown either of them?
Bruce is definitely worth the grow as well as the Purple Punch. The Do si do will be my 1st time to fruition. It is supposed to be high thc so we will see.
I have not grown DP or SC before. Not a big fan of the Durban poision that i smoked before. But the grower can make a huge diff as you are aware.

Definitely be waiting for those pics!! I’ve got to do an update this afternoon on my grow as well. My wifey likes the energetic strains so I figured Durban Poison was a ringer lol.
I like the Bruce and GSCE for active energy. And very heady thoughtful discussions. Also make some butter with one oz. One gram or 1.5 gram and i end up cleaning half the house. My husband always ends up starting a project after butter. LoL.
Also if he breaks out GSCExtreme flower it often means were going to get frisky. It has the strongest affects on me for sure. Definitely my preferred herbage.
I think I’m going to try new stuff this harvest. I have never made butter,hash, tinature, RSO or dabs. Since the perpetual harvest is a go now I’ve got extra flower to play with. Well I’ve got the Bruce but sounds like I need to add GSCE to my line up!!! I wonder if Masterc…d decision is going to affect ilgm? It says it’s done with cannabis sales and I’m hoping it’s just the flower,vape and edibles part of it though.
