Day 6 at 60/60…?

So today is day 6 of my “wet trimmed” buds hanging in my tent and the temperature and humidity has remained a pretty constant 60/60 with the exhaust fan set on one. Everything looks wonderful but none of the branches snap yet, they just bend. Any one know about how much longer? I don’t want it to get TO dried out, ya know? I have a moisture meter but have been told that’s not a reliable way of checking them, to trust the “snap when bent” test. Thanks for any advice.

Use your moisture meter. Get deep into the bud. You want it about 15 %. Ive had alot of stems that didnt snap that was dry. I would def lower you humidity to about 50. Temp around 65 70. I do 55% at 70 for 4 days then 50% at 65 for the remainder

I usually trim all the buds off the branches, after a few days hanging, and put them in a box for a couple of days to kind of sweat the rest of the excess moisture.

If your branches all snap will probably be too dry. Maybe if the smallest branches are cracking isn’t too bad, but i typically jar mine when smaller stems will lose pliability but not completely break when bent. If that makes sense? If you’re running 60/60 this could easily take 10-12 days or maybe even a little longer. If you see as described above go ahead and check a few with moisture meter and see.

If nothing else, you can jar buds for an hour or 2 and go back and check them.
Placing them in air tight container will pull moisture from inner parts of bud. If they seem too wet lay them out on a tray placed in a little more dry environment for an hour or two and put them back in jar. In my experience being a little too wet is fairly easy to deal with as long as your environment is clean. But if they get too dry quality is pretty much taking a hit immediately.

I second that. Takes out all the guess work.
