Day 34 how they look?

So its been 34 days ago that all the seeds have popped they are all white widow autoflowers and sizes are as follows

  1. 25 inches
  2. 16 inches
  3. 15 inches
  4. 11 inches
I know they show some signs of deficiencies and im waiting on some foxfarm cal mag as well. Hopijg at least like 5 ounces from all of them. They are a lot better than last run even if not perfect
    100 watt led grow light
    2 gallon fabric pots
    2×2×4 tent
Is 5 ounces to much to expect? Please let me know your thoughts i also moved the light up cause of light stress thank you

Your plants look great. I do have a question. These White widow seeds that you used are not from I❤️GM am I correct?

The reason I ask, I’ve been following another member here on the forum @Zampano for two seasons and he grows White widow autoflower seeds from I❤️GM this strain is Indica dominant

If you notice your plants they’re growing exactly the way an Indica dominant plant will grow bushy and full

The reason I question your seeds not being from I❤️GM is because his seeds produced growth that’s more commonly seen in a sativa traint.

See your plant below clearly Indica dominant

Yet his plant below is grown into a sativa form much more skinny and no bush effect. He’s from several of these and they’re all sativa traits

I’ve always questioned why as I’ve never seen it before where a Indica dominant grows like it’s sativa dominant.

Quite common with hybrids depending on the breeding…F2, F3?, etc.

…only if you mean per plant in that space

They actually all were from ilgm so it could either be 2 things

  1. Its a genetic thing and this one is just more happened to be sagiva fominant than usual
  2. I did leaf tucking as training but i also did more defoliage on that one thats more than probably recommended. I did it during the middle of veg whivh i believe redirected the energy instead of keepijg leaves it went for growikg in height. Im not sure which one exactly but its the only plant ive done heavy defoliation with.

No i mean the overall yeild, last time i got 14 grans for only 3 plants lol so terrible. And it was all from ilgm so idk about the consistancy of the seeds either

I grow nothing but autoflowers. One thing that I’ve noticed about I❤️GM autoflower seeds if properly maintained they get relatively larger than most breeders seeds of autoflowers.

My autoflower on the low end brings in 5oz on average 7oz I’ve had several due 20+oz

Most newbies that don’t dial in properly I see an average of 2+ ounces with little effort. The key to Auto flowers is flawlessness. They do not recover well from stress and stress always affects the yield. As long as you maintain the perfect environment, don’t over or underwater, and give them quality lighting yields are never an issue.

The plant picture below is a midget autoflower taken 2 days before harvest. She only got to be 11 in tall and she did 2 solid ounces of dried dense buds (10 weeks of flower)

This plant picture below also taking a few days before harvest (10 weeks of flower) was almost 6 ft tall and did 20 oz of dense Buds and another 5 oz of larf buds.

You just never know. There’s a lot of factors involved especially with autoflowers.

Yeah also genetics id say if you get shitty genetics they just arent gonna do as well even with the proper care but you can always do what you can. I hate just cutting them down cause they are small they arent human bhr they got lives to lol.

Hey in your opinion whats the max time autoflowers stay in veg? Mines 35 days old now but 2 arent showijg strong signs of preflower yet @Mmanson1981 @Lostgirl @Mozzy @Myfriendis410

I think mine started about 40 days I’ll have to go look at pictures to tell ya exactly I know she was closer to 5 weeks +

It really all depends. Average 4 weeks I’ve had some flower in 2 weeks I’ve had other flower in 6 weeks.

On a rare occasion I had one green crack that vegged for 11 weeks. I would say typical Auto flower 4 weeks

@Lostgirl , I’m doing my first Autos now, They are all in flower. Is the flowering time the same 8-12 weeks as photos?

I think they are a bit sooner like 7-10 typically

Alright so i shouldnt be worried yet about them being photos lol

Jesus christ, yeah i wont worry unless they go longer than 6-8 at max id say any longer and they are gonna take over my tent lol

Honestly out of all the auto flowers I’ve ever grown I’ve only had 1 single plant finish in 8 weeks of flower.

The average time is 10 weeks in flower. Big girls over 4-1/2 feet usually 12 weeks in flower.

I like to see about 10% Amber and I believe most photo growers are the same way.

Unlike photos, once the stretch is over with an auto flower (week 3 - 5 of flower) they’re not going to get any bigger in size.
