Very nice :star_struck::partying_face::rocket::airplane_departure::dashing_away::+1::zany_face::fire::yin_yang::peace_symbol::clown_face:

Don’t it feel wonderful to be growing again, eh?

Yes it does. It was a long week, seems like it took forever. lol

4/20 I soaked the seeds in peroxide and water for a couple hours then put them in soil. I didn’t wait for a tail. I’ve had a pretty good success rate doing it this way. It took 4.5 days for these 3 to pop up I expect the rest to join the party over the next few days

Just checked again theres 3 more just barely starting to break the surface. One sent the tap root up just under the surface then horizontal for about an inch. They should be up completely by tonight

We’re down in Scottsdale at my daughter’s final volleyballtournament of the season. Win or lose Ill be glad and sad when its over. My wallet will be happy but I’ll miss some of the friends we’ve made along the way.

The Tangie queen stopped playing the limbo and finally went vertical I have 7 out of 8 sprouted. The last one got tipped over and some soil spilled out I dont think the seed spilled out. We’ll see

@plumbdand Im set to follow along as well, best of luck to you and i hope the weather plays nice for your grow. I am also waiting on a bean to poke its head out, i always use a paper towel and wait for a tail but this time i wanted to sow directly into the soil for some reason. I also soaked it in water for a few hours before dropping her in the dirt.

Glad you’re here @Solidgold91 I used to soak for 24hrs then into a wet paper towel until a 1/4" tail then into soil. When the soil is good and I dont over water I have a higher success rate with a two hour soak in water with a little peroxide then straight into soil. 4-5 days later they pop up.

@plumbdand i forgot to mention the other day, i like the whirlpool set up :laughing:. I wonder what your lady thinks of it though. My blueberry muffin was above soil in slightly less than 3 days after just dropping the seed in soil…Hopefully thats means she’s a strong one. She’s surrounded by tomato and bell pepper seedlings right now but soon as weather allows she’ll be an only child.

I usually take over the tub from late September through mid November This happens 10-12 times every harvest. Everything I grow outdoors gets trimmed, washed and drip dried in the tub before I put it in my tent to dry. After everything is harvested and washed I take the wires down and clean up.
