Cutting down in next few days, I’m thinking about bud washing before cure?

Indoor grown, used foliar spray during veg and had a big problem with ghats, what does anyone think of bud washing indoor plants? I’m probably going to cut down Sunday afternoon :grinning:

You will be surprised at the amount of junk that is liberated during a bud wash. The remaining water will be cloudy.

Wow even indoor?

I’m leaning towards lemon juice and bakeing soda? Any opinions on this or hydrogen peroxide?

I’ve done it to my outdoor every harvest. It’s really windy where I live so dirt gets blown in everything.

I use 3% peroxide mixed at 1 cup/5 gallons of water. Natural, harmless.

Yes. I grow indoors and am consistently surprised.

Either way it’s recommended. But if you sprayed and/or had bugs definitely. Bug poop and carcases, residual from sprays, lots of nasties can come out.

Here’s a little excerpt briefly explaining why it doesn’t hurt anything

I always wash my buds. I only grow indoors. I use 1/4 cup lemon juice, and a 1/4 cup baking soda. Then of course plain water to rinse.

You guys have got me thinking…never heard of it before…interesting

So no ‘God made dirt and dirt don’t hurt’ here lol?? Bud washing seems very popular and prevalent.
