Hey happy people , hope you all had a wonderful Easter. I know this has been asked before ,but i was curious if there are any draw backs to using voodoo juice through out veg.? I know it says first 2 weeks and then first 2 weeks in flower, . Im roughly 4 weeks from sprouting on this maui wowie and i been feeding voodoo juice every watering. Not actually giving nutes at this point as ppm in happy frog tend to run high at first. Thanks in advance for any and all input. Just thougt I’d ask

Think you may have misinterpreted. You’re supposed to use it throughout veg until the 2nd week of flower

You could use it throughout the grow but you’d be wasting it since the plant isn’t focused on root growth once it’s in full bloom. That occurs in the vegetative state.

Agree you should use through 2nd week of flower…but just noticed on this latest bottle (got yesterday) that is says first two weeks of veg and first 2 weeks of flower.

Yeah that’s odd. Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Why restart root growth bacteria at a stage where it’s done with that process?

I also use advanced nutrients and follow their feeding schedule, although I don’t use their full line and I did not use Voodoo Juice. I use the perfect pH Trio and big bud and Overdrive and Cal Mag sensei all at half for my auto flowers

If you’re pre-charged nutrients have depleted and you’re using Advanced Nutrients at 50% you’ll never have to check your runoff ever again. The only other thing I would use if I were you is Bud Candy. It’s microbial feed to the 10th power. It’s like a seven course dinner for your microbes

Just for the record, I generally stop Voodoo Juice in weak 6-7 of flower as there’s no need to introduce new microbial life into the soil at this point. However, I continue to feed the microbial life by continuing to use Bud Candy.

When I found this place, ILGM, I read alot of your advice to others and I must say you are full of it! Full of much knowledge that is likely critical to new growers like myself. Seriously @DaveySprocket thank you for the kind words. Fortunately, I’m a retired geezer that found a special love for growing. I also found that helping others to be a incredible gratifying feeling deep in my soul for some reason.
I’ve never thought of myself as above anyone nor do I feel Superior in any way. Truthfully I’ve always thought of myself as a semi smart dumbass all through life
If what I recommend or say or do or have done helps someone in a positive way, I feel gratified. We’re All in This together as far as I’m concerned.
