Hey everyone. I am starting to think about nutes. Im using Indicanja Seedling starter atm in solo cups. Then im transplanting them into 5gal fab pots also Indicanja soil. What should i have on hand for the different phases? Opions welcome. I am thinking organic i want my grow to be as “simple” as possible dont want to be mixing shit all the time… here are my girls now. They are under only blue light ATM 16hrs a day. I’m moving under the big light tomorrow for 3 of them.
In 5 gal pots you should have enough nutes for 30 to 45 days. If youre wanting keep it simple stoopid (like me) I use Coast of Maines Stonington Veg Food and Buds N Bloom Food. Just follow their feeding schedule (once every few weeks) and top dress with worm castings…
Fox Farm Trio, simple & effective
To start with get a Ph and TDS meter. A GOOD Ph meter and a cheep TDS meter. The tds will tell you WHEN and HOW MUCH to feed. The Ph meter will let you keep the feed to so it can be absorbed by your plant.
This is the product I’ve been looking at. Heard it’s hard to get the nutes to dissolve properly in a bottle without having a side of nutes left in the bottom?
Water only using 5ml of fish shit per gallon.
Just shake bottle well each time
I top dress my plants with depending on the stage with gaia green and down to earth.
Gaia green (4-4-4 or 2-8-4)
Dolomite lime
Gypsum
Trace minerals (Glacier rock dust and/or basalt rock dust)
Earthworm castings (with the farmer worm on it)
I’ve been using Jacks 321 for years in coco, but you can use it with soil as well. I do add Raw silica, fulvic acid, Fishsh!t and bud XL (flower). Super easy, add silica first, then the jacks mix (in recommeded order), ph the water, then add fishsh!t and fulvic acid.
