Critical Purple, 1st grow...2nd plant

So decided to keep the journals separate, ill have the Sour D one and this one…hopefully. 1st Critical Purple didnt make it out of the soil and died. My fault im sure. So wife and I germinated another seed on the 22nd of Oct, it cracked and was placed in a warm papertowel in to a ziplock bag and kept in a warm dark area on 10/23. 10/24 it sprouted a taproot and was placed 1/2in down into FFHF soil and into the tent where the Sour D seedling is. Critical Purple sitting 24 1/2 inches away from light. While Sour D is at 17 1/2 inches away. Temps 75-77 and humidity 65%-73%. Light 18/6 same as Sour D from the start. Hopping this one pops out of slow nice and healthy!

Good luck with your grow buddy. That soil looks so dry in that cup or has the light dried the surface @InkedPC

Just that very top layer. Cup was watered a day before the seed went in. I dont soak the soil, just a nice little watering. Soil still wet when I take it out of the red cup.

Awesome, hope you get to plant them today! Let me know if you start a journal! I also have another journal going as well.

I’m in a vivosun tent 36"x20"x63 and I’m using an off brand LED COB light, plan to get a 2nd for flowering time. Pulls an actual 300w.

@Not2SureYet here ya go bud.

Well today is day 6 since seed in soil. CP is definitely a struggle for me as my first one didn’t make it out of the seed before dying. Not sure is she’ll do anything but im leaving her in the tent to see if she comes to life. I had to remove the helmet. @AZIrish @Not2SureYet

It looks like she may need help getting her shell off if I am seeing right. If so. Spray her with water. Give it about 5 minutes and try helping it off. If it will not come. I spray again and do that for a few more times. If it still will not go. I just keep going in the room to spray it and try the removal again later.
A side note. It may be worth picking up the smallest bag of coco or promix you can find. And start in that. It will make things easier for you I think. It drys out faster so it is harder to over water. I use this brand most of the time. It makes up close to a 20 gallon trash can. Just as an example. The little 3lb bricks seem to cost almost as much :roll_eyes:

If she hasn’t opened yet. You will need to squirt her down and also remove the thin membrane holding her leaves shut. Once they are open. She should be happy :slightly_smiling_face:
