Cream and Cheese clones. South Africa

I think i remember hearing about a cold bath too (straight water)…lemme check that

This has a few answers

this one is hit or miss but it has some stuff worth reading

I have made a few calls and found neem essential oil I can grab quick.

The neem spray for plants will only arrive next week.

they are the same thing i think…the spray premade is just watered down (premixxed)
If you have the unmixxed oil you could make a bath to soak in for a bit.

Neem is oil is just the sap from the neem plant

I have the oil.
Cold pressed no less.

Will mix up some water, neem oil and some pure glycerine soap for a spray.

Will I need to rinse the harvest etc if using neem so early?

Nope…no buds no foul

I sprayed last night a little before lights out.

Holding thumbs!

Remember to do the bottom of the leaves and the whole thing should be dripping when done…(is what i have been told…i only ever delt with this once and i caught it very early…i barely even remember cleaning em up)

I gave them a good spray.
I was also hunting the little bastards by hand.
Plants so small, I think I got most of them.

Will spray again tonight.

Mites aside, I still think the plants are not happy with something.

Presenting as deficient in something, or burnt.

I would be very surprised if the soil could be deficient.

Soil PH is about 6.8
Water also just below 7

The leaves that had mite damage yellowed and curled horribly. I cut some fan leaves off the worst plant. Her leaves were toast and potential hiding for mites.

Plant 2 is halfway

Plant 3 is thriving

Plant 4 (unknown seed) has patchy leaves since day 1. Also strange. Changed soil when up-potted and it’s stayed the same. Growing lovely though…

Could the new organic living soil be too strong ‘hot’?

I did mix with normal potting soil, coco and pearlite for the young ones…

Be careful. Neem oil can burn plants, plus it leaves an oily residue on anything it touches. It’s been theorized that neem oil spray may cause vomiting (cannabis emesis syndrome, or whatever they call it).

I’ve used Dr Zymes with great success, as well as a home-made mix approximating it… Also, diatomaceous earth works great on vegging plants.

In the bottom pic, those look like striations, not leaf issues. :grinning:

This could be Swazi plant.
Maybe so, because she is healthy otherwise.

I’m much more worried about my 3 clones.

I can’t understand why they are all so different.

One is hating life and one is doing well…

I have DE and swear by it for soil dwellers.
These critters hopefully only on the leaves.
Maybe red mite.
DE will go on I’m case they are in the soil too but it seems totally clear

I am weary of neem and only wanted to use it while the plants were fragile and so small.

My other organic one is strong stuff.

You can make a DE spray. Or dust your plants with it. Just rinse it off before bloom really starts.

:exploding_head:
I had never heard or seen that.

Sounds perfect.

Have managed to spray some DE onto plants. Struggled and broke 2 trigger bottles🤦‍♂️
