Could this be light intensity

These buds look funny to me. Could it be my light is to intense? Week 7 of 12/12. Started out with a cmh 315, but switched to an hlg 350r 3 days ago at full power 16” above canopy.

Looks to close or too intense. I see older pistils turning with new fox tailing growth :love_you_gesture:

I see slight burnt tips on the leaves. Is this only on the top half of the plant? Or are the bottom leaves under the canopy doing it as well? If not then could be the light. Couldn’t hurt to move it up a couple inches.

Bottoms look just like the top.

That’s a lot of foxtails… you have that light up to high or to close . LEDs burn completely different than halides.

I have my HLG lights at the top of my 80” tent and run them full blast. I only had one fox tail and that was because Texas turned our power off for 70 hours back in Feb 2021 during the Great Freeze. The house was 39 degrees.

Thats a lot of fox tailing tho. I run my HLG’s at least 24” above the plant.

Yeah man you just greatly increased your light intensity.
She’s screaming to back it off a little bit and work it up slowly. Turn light down or raise it up

Sounds like a plan. Thanks for your help.

Hey Dex, I just got the 350r as well and one thing I immediately found out that at full power with about 30" from light to top of canopy, I was pushin 70 DLI on a 4 week old. You mentioned above you are at 16", I will place something at 16" under my light, blast it to full power and then check back in here tonight about 5:30 pm to post the DLI at that power/height. Nevermind, you have already harvested. 6 month old post shows up as new in my notifications??? Strange.

That’s cool, website has been acting funny for me as well. I’m still trying to figure this light out. It’s a beast LOL. My last grow I had a terrible time with brown spots, like a calcium deficiency, and I read where plants work a lot harder under led, and can cause deficiencies like that, so I don’t know what to think. Cal mag didn’t help.
