ILGM Strawberry Kush, Miracle Gro soil for seedlings, PH 5.9, 26 days of growing, 3 to 5 sets of true leaves. I’m wondering if it’s time to transplant into 5 gallon buckets of potting soil and start feeding with my FF Big Bloom. Thanks.
do you have any pics @EarlyPearl?
I will get some in a few minutes.
Here you go.
Hey im just a novice and somebody correct me if im wrong but your ph seem a little low, ive read seedings like it lower than adults but i have never read 5.9. Just want the best for your plants
I don’t really know for sure. I thought it supposed to be between 5.5 and 6.5.
I think they look OK for only having like 12 days of sunshine out of 26 days of clouds and rain.
6.5 ph for soil, your plants look fine to me maybe streched a bit…those cotyledons do that, mine have at different times…
adjust ph for now and watch them…
Yeah, they are stretched from lack of sun from what’s I’ve read. Thanks.
It’s normal for the cotyledons to yellow and fall off. They store food for the roots during the seedling stage so that they can develop enough to start getting nutrients from the soil.
Raise your PH up if you are using a soil medium as others have suggested.
Depending on what kind of soil you are using you can start to think about giving them a small dose of nutrients. Some soils have nutrients already in them so you might not need any quite yet.
Thanks. I have regular potting soil with no nutrients in it. It’s called Countryside Accents sold at Lowes.
If they were mine I would monitor for a few days and give them a very light dose of nutes there next watering. I like to start with a little and see how they react.
Although nutrient or environmental factors are the most common causes of yellowing cannabis leaves, there are many other possibilities. I recommend reading our article on why your leaves are turning yellow for a quick solution.
Question? Why is ILGM Support bumping 2 to 6 year old posts? There are many years old posts being bumped to the top of the threads this morning.
