So you want 1,000ppm the entire grow from veg to harvest? I think I already asked this but why the hell does Fox Farm’s feeding schedule recommend a ppm of 2-3,000 at certain points?? Wouldn’t that fry your plants?

Running PPM that high will eventually cause problems. It would be a huge issue given how salty the FF nutes are. You would end up flushing a lot to correct pH. FF makes money selling more nutrients, not less. It’s not really a FF issue. All nute makers do it.

Wow I didn’t know that. So that’s why everyone says to start light and then still eventually only give like half the recommended amount. That makes sense.

Yeah I finally got my runoff to around 6.5 about a week ago after flushing. I just tested again after feeding/watering with a PH of 7 and also a new top coat of dolomite lime on top of another top coat of dolomite lime I added a week ago… runoff is exactly 5.5 again… :man_facepalming:t3: I feel like I’ll never be able to fix this. She’s only got a few more weeks left of flower.

I only use 1/4 recommended dosing for foxfarm nutrients and plants are perfect
