Cool weather grow tips

Almost time to move the plants outdoors but looks like a cooler June than normal. Thinking of leaving them in pots this year rather than plant them in the garden

Forecasting lows of 9°C and rain for much of the month, any tips would be appreciated for managing the veg cycle in cool weather and when I should move them outside full time?

Same problem here… I have the first ones in a greenhouse but still I might have to scrap most of them..

Y’all could look up Amish greenhouses they grow in them all year around without heaters in them, might be worth looking into.

Mine have been outside since April 24th. I wait until we get 14 hours of daylight then out they go. And my weather is the same, about 60 miles east of you in the valley.

Hey @maplebuds do people still pick shrooms there in the fall? They used to here 40 years ago but I don’t hear of it anymore. Deroche wa always a hotspot for them. We did a trip to Comox one October for a picking weekend, what a trip that was! Drove Courtney to Victoria peaking, oh to be young and stupid again!

It’s been awhile. Get chased out of enough cow fields and ya find a better way, ya know. Lol

How are you managing nutrient schedule with the rain?

I’ll tag you in my journal. Right now, they are probably a bit hungry. I’ve been wanting to feed them for a couple of days now, will today regardless of this rain. I’m not too worried about overwatering them, in my tent I use autopots so they are always moist. Outsiders are in bags, so they will drain.
