I have seen organic growers use clover to help fix nitrogen, but never anything beyond that.

Ive never heard of anyone using ginger but some use basil, rosemary, celantro and other types of herbs. I’ve used all of these currently Im using clover to fix nitrogen but my main reason is to have a green zone around my plants. It cools and keeps the topsoil moist. It creates a micro climate, also raises the rh a little bit around the plants.

I grow them over the winter each year. Just to eat rather than as companion plants.

Cilantro is Corriander in my neck of the woods, I am going to be a sproutin’ some seeds. Thank you.

I imagine the rhizomes from a Ginger plant would do a Putin on my Northern Lights roots., so I shall follow your advice and plant some Clover. Thanks🦉

Dutch white clover is a little easier to manage than crimson or red clover.

I live in the wilds of West Wales UK and I only have the clover that grows naturally here, I will send you a photos if it takes off in my pot.
