@Pye I read that clover is an excellent companion plant.

I’ve seen outdoor growers use companion crops to attract the bugs away from the good stuff.

idk about any cannabis companions,
French Marigolds seem to benefit all garden plants tho.!

like @Covertgrower mentioned, any legume adds N to the soil.!!
clover is a light feeder compared to beans or peas, if that helps…???

Ahhh, but will the clover attract deer? My grow will be outdoors WAYYYYY back on my property since I am venturing from the squat autoflowers to full size Fem LSD.

I plan on using Sunflowers as companions outdoor this year. Small ones close to my plants and big ones farther away to attract attention away from my ladies. I’ve read sunflowers attract the bugs.
I just started a new indoor grow and have lettuce, beet greens, kale, radishes and tomatos started as well. I keep them in separate containers to use my 4x4 tent more efficiently. I can grow marijuana and eat veggies during the veg cycle. Romain, kale, beets greens will take about 55 days until it’s ready to harvest. Should be able to get a couple of batches in before I flip to flower. I plan on cloning the tomatos for the summer. I have Cherry an Amish paste varieties. This is my first go at it so we’ll see how it goes.

there r several plants/flowers that attract beneficial insects like lady bugs,
i use Marigold, Nasturtium, and Morning Glory in the garden for this purpose.!

yes it will, no more then the cannabis plants tho,
anything green can attract deer.!
it is best to use deer detouring practices no matter what is growing around your plants.!

If growing in a tent or inside there’s really no benefit just more time and care involved. Out side tomatoes and corn grow very good together if you have hedge apples split in half and quarter them and lay them on the ground around your grow and it keeps alot of thing’s out. Als the aisain or loas people at the city market sell bitter melon which stinks and taste very bad will keep alot of thing’s out of your garden to.
