Cold temperature slap

A couple of nights back the temp dropped to 40 degrees F. One plant, my only GG#4, has gotten the leaf droops and the new growth is light green (as opposed to dark green). Its been 3 days since and no visible improvement. All other plants were completely unaffected.

Any steps to take? Just leave it, give nutes, ???

could be just the plant saying she dont like the cold. once the temps climb back up she should be fine. i have two jack frost growing and one has always had some droop to her but is still happy looking. and the other just stays happy and straight.

We’ve had those low 40s nighttime temps lately too. No harm to most but my sour D got a little droopy about it. Much better today after a drink and all this nice sun and perfect temps.

Treat her to some kelp/molasses tea. She’ll love ya twice.

Actually I should go give my girls some Kelp/molasses tea but I’m really baked and this Heady Topper is not helping motivate

She’ll bounce back. Not sure if you saw it but @kaptain3d had a couple of plants that got snowed on for a couple of days and today they are gorgeous. Took a minute for them to recover but they did and then some

Snowed on for a couple of days? It doesn’t get much worse than that. What strain and was it an auto with Rudeli genetics. I have some Fem’ed Amnesia seedlings that went outdoors when it should have been OK but we got like 4 or 5 nights with lows above freezing but in the 30’s. I did cover them with 2 liter pop bottles with the tops cut off and with rocks on top to keep them from blowing away during those nights. They didn’t really droop or lose their color, they just seemed to hardly grow until about a week after the temps stayed above 50 overnight. Like little Bonsai plants with small sun leaves. Now I probably didn’t help them much by cutting off most sun leaves when I could. I had nothing else to smoke but now know these Amnesia genes are good because even a puff or two of these baby leaves does the job. I also topped them and used these two as mothers and took like 4 clones off each. It’s been over a month since then and they are both only 12-16" tall. Each one is being trained with all new branches being tied to a wire ring thingy I put around them. They aren’t stretching any yet and all branches are getting more light being tied off. Anyway, the cold nighttime temps didn’t kill either of the fem’ed Amnesia plants!

Once the temps climb back up she should be aright. “If” the leave start to brown and darken I would be worried the cold temps damaged to much of the interior cells. You look to be in the clear.
We also had about a week of freezing cold nights, 28, and pretty cold days 60. We did our best to shield the plants from the cold but one can only do so much. It took ours about 2 weeks of nice weather to start showing healthy new growth.
Keep doing what you are doing and you will be fine.
Happy growing…
