Does the leaf shribble up after dipping it in clone powder and putting it in the dirt?

The leaves dont go in the powder, just the stem

The leaves could droop for the first 24 hours but should perk up by then. Hope you only dipped the stem in rooting hormone lol
I moistened the stem, dipped it in the powder, shook off the excess and put them in the dirt just like the instructions said. It also says to just spritz daily. So far this is what I got but I just did this yesterday.

Are you trying to clone individual leaves

I was more curious to see if it was gonna work so I just cut two leaves of 2 separate plants( same strain) and just put them in the bowl of potting soil to see what would happen.
You need some stem to get a good clone I have had success with just putting them in soil but I use rock wool cubes now much higher success rate here’s some I took this morning
@Shellbell get you a good cloning agent like Athena Cuts or Clonex Gel. Dip your clippings and put it in your soil.

I’ll try it again when my plants are bigger and I can get a good size stem. I’d like to top them and use the tops. Have you ever done it that way?

The tops usually get you off to a great start with a thicker main stem that sprouts out more roots and can transport more nutrients faster.

I use some fertilome rooting promoter and starting solution mixed in water for initial waterings of a few ml to boost your powder. I use a dropper to administer near stem. Once roots begin to establish i water towards the outside of my solo cup till enough growth occurs to transplant
