Clones have female flowers

My 2 clones, one Maui and one Northern lights are in the grow room and under a 1000w hps. The timer is 18/6. They are starting to show flowers at the leaf nodes. The flowering room has a week left left on the buds.

Will the clones be ok waiting another week or so before moving to 12/12 hrs?

Is it normal for plants to flower at 18/6?

Is it a good or bad thing?

It’s normal. They’ll reveg in a week or so. Remeber that they are technically in the same stage as the mother plant.

These sound like preflowers. Normal, and showing sex, shed just telling you she’s mature enough for flowering. @RAP

Hard to say for sure without seeing, but I agree she’s probably just showing pre flowers due to age.
